The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra (DTE, Maharashtra) conducts the counselling across 2 to 3 rounds, where participation is mandatory. Students must note that the JBIMS MMS course eligibility criteria require students to have appeared for the JBIMS entrance exam. They must clear the JBIMS CAT cutoff or the JBIMS CMAT cutoff to be considered for the JBIMS admission process 2026. Here is the detailed JBIMS Mumbai 2026 eligibility criteria:

Master of Management Studies

• You must have a Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/S/OBC/PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
• If you are a final year bachelor’s degree student or are due to appear for an equivalent qualification examination, and/or have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results, you can also apply. In such cases, you must have obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent till the latest examination.

Part-Time MMS

• In addition to the Bachelor's degree requirement, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience (supervisor or executive level) as of 15th June (Current Year) after Graduation.
• Self-employed aspirants must submit copies of their submission of Income Tax Returns (Last Three years). Registration of the company/ organisation, and/or a copy of the Partnership Deed in which the student's name is mentioned, proving their required experience must be furnished.
