  • Performance in the CAT/MAH MBA CET exam will determine whether candidates will be allowed admission or not.
  • Shortlisted candidates are called for Personal Interview.
  • Written Ability Test, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and the Common Entrance Test constitute the selection test.

  • All qualified candidates must take the selection test.

  • A candidate who wishes to apply for more than one programme must submit their applications separately by paying the relevant application fees for each programme. Only one of the programmes for which the candidate has applied will be accepted.

  • When admission has already been completed, there can be no changes to the admission to the various programmes.

Master of Management Studies

  • Candidates must pass an entrance exam administered by the respective authorities.

  • Candidates must crack the MAH-MBA CET exam.

  • The final selection of candidates is done through a Centralized Admission Process i.e. CAP Rounds; carried out by DTE, Maharashtra.

Master of Human Resource Development (MHRD)

The admission process comprises:

  • Written Ability Test (WAT) - 100 marks

  • In-Person Assessment (IPA) - 100 marks     

In-person assessment (IPA) comprises:

  • Group Activity – 40 marks

  • Personal Interview – 50 marks

  • Written Ability Test – 10 marks

JBIMS Mumbai MBA Admission Process 2024

Only those applicants who meet the JBIMS Mumbai cutoff will be contacted to proceed to the subsequent step in the process. The JBIMS Mumbai selection process is divided into two phases, which are listed below:

  • Phase 1: Cutoffs will be announced, and individuals will be selected according to their performance in the MAH MBA CET. For the candidate to pass the JBIMS Mumbai selection process, they must also have an excellent academic background.

  • Phase 2: JBIMS Mumbai will contact shortlisted candidates to schedule a personal assessment round. The WAT, GD, and PI rounds may be included here.

Note: Shortlisted candidates must pay an admission fee of Rs.1200/- which is non-refundable.

Centralised Admission Process (CAP) at JBIMS Mumbai

Individuals wishing to attend JBIMS Mumbai must appear for the MAH MBA CET. Aspirants who achieve the MAH MBA CET cutoff requirements must participate in CAP, and seats will be allotted in accordance with CAP based on seat availability. Factors Determining JBIMS Mumbai Cutoff 2024

The results of the MAH MBA CET are analyzed by JBIMS Mumbai to create merit lists each year. For final selection, candidates must participate in the CAO conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell after the first shortlisting process. Based on the following criteria, JBIMS Mumbai determines its cutoff:

JBIMS Mumbai Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

DTE Maharashtra administers the admission process at JBIMS Mumbai. The eligibility criteria for admission to MBA/MMS programmes offered by JBIMS Mumbai are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission or the Association of Indian Universities. The degree program must last a minimum of three years and can be in any discipline.

  • Minimum Marks: Candidates need to achieve a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or its equivalent. However, candidates from the backward class category and Persons with Disability residing in Maharashtra State must secure a minimum of 45% or its equivalent.

  • Eligibility for Final Year Candidates: Candidates currently in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree program from a recognized University by the University Grants Commission or the Association of Indian Universities are also eligible to apply to JBIMS Mumbai.

There are two ways to secure admissions at JBIMS Mumbai:

  • For Maharashtra State(MS) Candidates: MAH MBA CET exam  + All India Quota

  • For Other than Maharashtra State(OMS) Candidates: All India Quota through MAH MBA CET/CAT/CMAT.
