How to check the JoSAA seat allotment result?

JoSAA is in charge of releasing the seat matrix for the participating colleges on its official website, josaa.nic.in. This JoSSA matrix displays the available seats for each B. Tech course across the NITs, GFTIs, IIITs and IITs. Admission into these institutes is determined by the JEE Main entrance exam scores.  

What is the fee of the JoSAA Counselling process?

The partial JoSAA admission fee is set at INR 20,000 for the SC/ST category students and Rs 40,000 for the General, OBC, and EWS category students.  

How many choices can be filled in the JoSAA Counselling process?

In the JoSAA choice filling process, candidates are allowed to enter and arrange their choices of institutes and colleges according to their wish to be admitted to. Candidates are suggested to fill as many choices as possible in order of their preference to increase their chances of seat allotment in JoSAA.  

What if no seat is allotted in CSAB?

In case, a new seat is not allotted to a candidate in the CSAB-Special round, then the JoSAA seat will be retained with the candidates.  

Does JoSAA automatically lock choices?

If one does not lock their choices, the last saved choices will be locked automatically upon reaching the deadline for the JoSAA choice filling. The automatically locked choice list will be considered for allocating a seat during the JoSAA counselling process.

How will NIT Durgapur BTech cutoff be released?

NIT Durgapur BTech cutoff is released in the form of opening and closing ranks. 

Does category reservation affect NIT Durgapur Btech opening and closing ranks?

Yes, the category of students (Gen/OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PWD) plays a crucial role in determining the NIT Durgapur JoSSA cutoff 2024. 

Who is eligible for NIT Durgapur BTech admission?

For B. Tech admission at NIT Durgapur, candidates are required to secure a good score and rank in JEE Main.  

Is NIT Durgapur JoSSA cutoff released separately for all courses?

Yes, NIT Durgapur JoSSA cutoff is released separately for each course offered at the institute. 

Is NIT Durgapur JoSSA cutoff released online or offline?
