JEE Advanced Result 2024

JEE Advanced 2024 scorecard has been released on July 25, 2024. JEE Advanced 2024 AAT Result for B.Arch stream has been released on June 14, 2024. JEE Advanced 2024 Result was released for BTech onJune 9, 2024, by IIT Madras in the online mode.Candidates can download their JEE Advanced 2024 results by logging in using their credentials like roll number, date of birth, and mobile number. Candidates qualifying for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam will be eligible to participate in the JEE Advanced counselling process. The JEE Advanced scorecard 2024 will comprise crucial information including marks obtained by the candidates and combined marks of Paper I and Paper II. The result of JEE Advanced 2024 will also comprise the Common Rank List (CRL). The candidates must possess a valid JEE Advanced 2024 rank to be eligible for the JEE Advanced counselling and seat allotment. Steps to Check JEE Advanced Result 2024

Candidates can follow the procedure given below to download JEE Advanced results:

• Go to the official website of JEE Advanced 2024 exam and click on the link available to access the result (results.jeeadv.ac.in)

• A new page will open where you will be required to enter your Registration No, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email ID

• Click on 'Login' once all the credentials are filled

• After that, JEE Advanced results will appear on your screen

• Download the JEE Advanced result, take a printout and keep a soft copy as well.

Once the JEE Advanced results are announced, the merit list follows. Next, the successful candidates are called for the JEE Advanced counselling process. During the counselling process for JEE Advanced, candidates should carry all the original documents with them to the designated center/destination. In the seat allotment and counselling process, candidates will have the option of choice filling of the seat, provisional admission, and seat allotment.

JEE Advanced 2024 Qualifying Marks

How is JEE Advanced Result 2024 Prepared?

The candidates' exam scores are used to determine the JEE Advanced 2024 result. The JEE Advanced marking scheme is used to compute the marks. 

• Subject-wise mark computation: A candidate's total score in Physics for JEE Advanced 2024 will be the sum of their scores in Paper 1's Physics section and Paper 2's Physics section. Chemistry and maths will work similarly.
• Calculation of aggregate marks: The total of a candidate's marks in mathematics, chemistry, and physics will be their aggregate mark in JEE Advanced 2024. The methods for calculating marks in mathematics and chemistry will be the same. The candidates' marks out of 360 will be calculated by adding the combined scores from Papers 1 and 2.

JEE Advanced 2024 Rank Lists

• The Rank Lists of JEE Advanced 2024 are prepared for only those candidates who appear for both Papers 1 and 2.

• The JEE Advanced Rank lists are prepared on the basis of aggregate marks in JEE Advanced 2024 exam.

• The aggregate score means the sum of the marks secured by the candidates in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics subjects.

• There will be no waiting list for ranking.

• If the aggregate marks obtained by two or more candidates are similar, then the tie-break policy will be used to give the ranks.

• A separate rank list will be prepared for reserved category (OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD).

• A candidate who manages to qualify in more than one category will be considered in all the categories, where he/she belongs to the purpose of ranking.

Along with the results, the minimum marks that aspirants need to acquire for inclusion in the JEE Advanced rank list will be released. 

JEE Advanced 2024 Tie-Breaking Policy

The JEE Advanced 2024 tie-breaking policy shall be applicable for the test takers eventually scoring equal marks or ranks in the entrance exam. In order to identify the one scoring higher rank few parameters are taken into consideration. These parameters help the concerned authority to identify the one with higher rank or position in the rank list of JEE Advanced 2024.

The tie-breaker policy shall be practical with the declaration of the JEE Advanced result 2024. The parameters of this tie-breaker policy include the following:

• Candidates with a higher score in Mathematics will be given the first priority as compared to other JEE Advanced equal marks scorer. Higher rank will be given to the candidates with higher marks in Mathematics

• If the marks secured in Mathematics fail to break the tie then the marks scored in Physics will be considered. The ones scoring higher marks in Physics will be allotted with a higher rank as compared to the others

• In case of the tie still exists then the ones with equal marks will be given equal ranks by the concerned authority of JEE Advanced

Post JEE Advanced 2024 Result Declaration

The tie-breaking policy of JEE ADvanced 2024 will be employed for candidates scoring equal marks in JEE Advanced 2024 exam. A number of parameters are taken into account to identify the candidate with the higher rank position as per the JEE Advanced rank list 2024.

Candidates will have to check the cutoff list after the result is announced to ensure their position in the respective JEE Advanced participating colleges 2024.

Candidates will further have to apply for the JEE Advanced counselling 2024 to be eligible for the seat allotment.The Joint Seat Allocation Authority conducts the JEE Advanced counselling process across 6 rounds for candidates qualifying the JEE Advanced exam. Keeping into consideration the list of all the JEE Advanced participating colleges 2024, the counselling and the seat allotment process are conducted.

In order to be allocated seats across the JEE Advanced participating institutes 2024, candidates will have to undertake the JEE Advanced web options 2024. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of the choices filled by them. Candidates must keep in mind  that the final decision of admission lies in the hands of the concerned authorities of the respective colleges. No changes will be accepted once the decision of seat allotment is implemented. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute with the required documents as per the specified deadline to complete the admission procedure.
