JEE Main 2020 Mock Test (Registration Begins)

NTA (short for National Testing Agency) has set up practice centers (TPCs) of JEE Main Mock Test 2020 to help the candidates with their preparation for the examination. Aspirants must note that JEE Main mock test 2020 registration has begun from August 6, 2019 and candidates can book their slots from August 10, 2019 in online mode on The registration process for appearing in the mock test is free and candidates who wish to appear for the mock tests of JEE Main 2020 will have to register themselves on the official website of NTA.

Only applicants who register themselves will be able to avail this facility. JEE Main 2019 mock test will be available for download from the month of October/November. Practicing the JEE Main 2020 Mock Test will help the candidates understand the JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern such as the types of questions, the process of answering the questions and marking scheme, nature of questions, etc.

Mock tests can be extremely helpful in improving the time-management skills of candidates. Taking the JEE Main 2020 mock tests will help the candidates get a clear view of the actual JEE Main 2020 examination. Candidates can visit the official website of JEE Main to know further about the mock test practice centers and get trained in taking the online examination free of cost.

How to Access JEE Main Mock Test with Solutions

The steps to access the JEE Main mock test are mentioned below:

  • To register for JEE Main Practice Center, visit the official website of JEE Main i.e.

  • On the homepage of NTA, click on ' Registration for mock test' tab.

  • After logging in, enter personal details such as Name, Mobile Number, D.O.B and Password.

  • Enter all the details carefully and upload your photograph and photo ID, click on the 'Next' tab.

  • Provide your contact details followed by academic details and exam details.

  • Choose the practice centers.

  • You must enter the five practice centers, which will come in a drop-down list in the order of preference in order to book your appointment.

  • There will also be an option to check the booking history and also, there will be no restriction on the number of registrations but it will be on first come first serve basis.

JEE Main 2020 examination comprises of 2 papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 for B.Tech/B.E., which will be conducted in computer-based mode, while Paper 2 is for B.Arch/ B.Planning, which will be partly computer-based (Mathematics and Aptitude test) and partly pen-and-paper based.
