Why has the NATA Syllabus been Revised?

For the Academic year 2024-2025, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) issued a handbook stating that Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are now no longer mandatory to study for students seeking admission in Architecture Courses at the undergraduate level. Keeping in view this aspect, CoA has completely removed Chemistry from the syllabus of NATA. However, in the NATA Information Brochure 2024, CoA has mentioned clearly that questions could be asked on various topics that assess candidates on basic concepts in Mathematics, Physics, and a few other areas.
