Engineering Mathematics - The weightage for Engineering Mathematics in GATE EE exam 2024 is 30 marks, and it is one of the easy-scoring topics. The most important chapters that you need to focus on Engineering Mathematics are -

  • Calculus
  • Complex Variables
  • Matrices
  • Differential Equation

General Aptitude: The weightage for the General Aptitude section in GATE is 15 marks, and it is one of the easy-scoring topics. If you are aspiring for a 70+ score in this section, you will have to focus on it.

Most Important Topics in GATE EE 2024

The most important topics in GATE EE 2024 as per the priority order can be checked below. It is advisable to go as per the priority order for better revision -

Priority 01: Electric Circuits and Control System. These two topics are interrelated, and it is advisable to revise the same first.

Priority 02: Electrical Machines and Control System. These two topics are interrelated. So, focus them side by side.
