MHT CET 2026 Exam Day Instructions: MHT CET 2026 PCB exam will be conducted from April 21 to 26, 2026. MHT CET PCM entrance exam 2026 will be conducted from April 11 to 19, 2026. Through the MHT CET 2026 exam, the qualifying candidates will be provided admission to theB.Tech course, B. Pharma and B.Sc Agriculture courses in the top colleges across Maharashtra. Since the exam is coming closer, most of you must have prepared your syllabus for the exam. However, it is very important for the candidates to not only prepare the syllabus but also exam day instructions for MHT CET 2026. The following article will outline the completeMHT CET 2026Exam Day Instructions, including Documents to Carry, Guidelines, CBT Process, Covid-19 Rules, and other details about the same.

MHT CET 2026 CBT Instructions for Candidates

The MHT CET 2026 CBT instructions for candidates are given below:

  • The MHT CET exam will be conducted as a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) test.

  • There will be 4 options given for each question, out of which the candidates will have to choose one correct answer.

  • In case a candidate has any objection against the question in the exam, they can submit it through the Candidate’s Log as per the schedule.

  • Physics, Chemistry & Biology will have 1 mark for each question, and Mathematics will have 2 marks for each question

  • The exam will be a total of 180 minutes in duration.

  • There will be a total of 200 questions.

  • There will be no negative marking in the exam.

  • Each question will be displayed on the computer screen of the student one by one. The students must not spend a lot of time on one question.

  • The medium of the paper will be English/ Urdu/ Marathi, except for the language proficiency papers, which will be in their respective languages.

MHT CET 2026 Important Exam Day Instructions

The candidates must keep in mind the following exam day instructions for MHT CET 2026 :

  • After the mentioned timing in the admit card for gate closure, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall

  • The candidates must bring with them MHT CET admit card, which needs to be shown to the invigilator whenever required

  • After the deadline, no extra time will be given to the candidates in any case

  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam is over. Similarly, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam after test completion

  • The candidates must not use any personal sheet for rough work and must do the rough work on the sheet provided by the exam invigilator

  • Use of devices such as cellphones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches, Smartwatches with built-in calculators/ memory or any electronic gadgets will not be allowed in the examination hall

  • The candidates must wear masks and maintain social distancing when at the exam centres

  • The candidates must sit at their respective allotted seats only. The seat allotment will be provided at the examination hall

  • If any candidate is found using any unfair means, he/ she will be debarred from the examination and will not be allowed for the admission process

Can I use a calculator during the MHT CET Exam?

Calculators, smart watches, and other electronic devices are not permitted in the exam hall.  

Who is eligible to take the MHT CET Exam?

Candidates must have a B.Sc. Degree from a recognised university with at least 45% aggregate marks (for the General category) and at least 40% aggregate marks (for backward class/ Persons with Disability from Maharashtra only). These applicants must have completed their XII class with Mathematics as a subject.    

What is the MHT CET exam day dress code?

Candidates are required to wear a face mask. They are not permitted to wear metal-containing or metallic clothing or accessories. Candidates are not permitted to wear any jewellery to the exam. It is not permitted to wear a hat.
