MHT CET 2024 Exam Pattern

 MHT CET exam pattern 2024 will comprise important information on the mode and duration of the MHT CET exam, the total number and type of questions, the marking scheme, etc. As per the latest MHT CET exam pattern, The MHT CET 2024 will comprise 3 question papers in total. Candidates will be asked multiple-choice questions with every paper having an allotted time of 90 minutes. The MHT CET exam is largely based upon the Standard 11 and 12 syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The marking scheme of MHT CET 2024 exam is different in Paper 1 and Paper 2:

  • Every correct answer carries one mark for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology Papers and 2 marks for Mathematics Paper

  • There is no negative marking in the entrance examination

MHT CET Syllabus 2024

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the official MHT CET 2024 syllabus in PDF format on its official website at cetcell.mahacet.org. As per the last year’s MHT CET syllabus, questions will be asked in the MHT CET 2024 exam from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Do the candidates have to appear for different papers as per their programme preference?

Yes, for Engineering and Technology disciplines the candidates have to take the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics papers and the Pharmacy aspirants have to sit in the Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics papers as per their preference. 

Can NRI candidates apply for MHT CET 2024 exam?

Yes, NRI candidates can apply for MHT CET 2024. They will not have to fill out the MHT CET 2024 application form and are eligible for direct admission to the respective institutes. As per the eligibility, candidates of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, and Foreign Nationals have to register for direct counselling.

What is the marking scheme for MHT CET 2024?

The marking scheme for MHT CET 2024 states that for every correct answer in Physics & Chemistry, one mark will be awarded. In Mathematics, two marks will be awarded for every correct answer. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
 

What are the papers for CET 2024?

MHT CET 2024 will be conducted in two papers- Paper 1 for Physics and Chemistry and Paper 2 for Mathematics.
