TISS MAT is a common entrance examination conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Candidates who are looking for admission to MA in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations (HRM &LR) or MA in Organisation Development, Change and Leadership (ODCL) courses need to appear for the TISS MAT examination after TISSNET. TISS has announced the TISS MAT was scheduled for May 8 but due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases,

TISS MAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates looking for admission in the HRM&LR and ODCL courses offered by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences need to satisfy the eligibility criteria of TISS MAT. The eligibility criteria of TISS MAT 2021 is provided below.

  • Candidates must have graduation or post-graduation from any recognized institution or university

  • Those who have appeared for the final year examination may also apply for TISS MAT

  • Candidates must have secured passing marks in all the subjects in the qualifying degree

It should be noted that candidates from any stream may apply for TISS MAT. However, they must have applied for MA ODCL or MA HRM&LR course at TISS Mumbai in order to appear for TISS MAT.

TISS MAT 2021 Exam Pattern

TISS MAT is divided into three sections namely Management Data Interpretation, Comprehension and Business Awareness. A total of 15 questions will be asked in each section. The total duration of the exam is 30 minutes and it will be conducted after a gap of 5-10 minutes from the TISSNET examination. TISS MAT 2021 Selection Process

Candidates must note that they will first have to qualify the TISS NET examination to get selected for further rounds of the TISS MAT selection process. Those who have qualified for the TISSNET examination and have scored 35% sectional cutoff for the GK section in the TISS MAT examination will be selected on the basis of the following criteria.

Candidates should note that there is no sectional cutoff for the TISS MAT examination. Apart from this, they should note that those who have not satisfied the sectional cutoff for the GK section in the TISSNET examination will be not allowed to take part in the further selection rounds.
