TISS Mumbai begins admissions for several programmes. The institute offers admission to various courses based on CUET and TISSNET. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences formerly known as Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work was founded in 1936. TISS has four campuses: TISS Hyderabad, TISS Guwahati, and TISS Tuljapur and the main Mumbai. TISS Mumbai has two campuses: the main campus and the Malti and Jal A.D. Naoroji Campus Annexe, both of which are located in Deonar, which is in the North-East section of Greater Mumbai. Moreover, TISS Mumbai has been ranked 98th in the university category of the NIRF Ranking List 2023. The ranking has a downfall as compared to 2022. In 2022, it was ranked 60th under the university category.

TISS Admissions 2023: TISSNET 2023 result have been published. TISSNET 2023 final answer key has been released. TISSNET 2023 was held on February 25, 2023. TISSNET 2023 admit card was made available on February 16, 2023. Registered candidates can download their admit cards from tiss.edu by entering their email address and password. NTA started accepting applications for the CUET UG exam on February 9, 2023. By March 12, 2023, the CUET UG 2023 application must be received. Interested candidates may submit an online application on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. May 21 through May 31, 2023, will see the CUET Undergraduate Exam take place. TISS Mumbai admissions are offered in a variety of postgraduate and doctoral programmes in MA, M.Sc, MPH, MHA, MLIS, LLM, PhD, and M.Phil. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject are eligible to apply for the postgraduate courses. Candidates who have completed a master's degree with honours may apply to doctoral programmes.

TISS Mumbai provides a wide range of services to its students. TISS Mumbai's campus facilities are tailored to the needs of the students. TISS Mumbai has separate accommodations for boys and girls. TISS Mumbai has six hostels, four on campus and two in Malti and Jal A.D. Naorji.
The institute has a library that houses a large collection of learning resources such as books, reference books, periodicals, journals, and so on. TISS Mumbai has two medical centres for the benefit of its students, faculty, and staff. The institute also has a recovery room where students with communicable diseases can be treated. Some other TISS Mumbai campus facilities include a cafeteria, computer labs, counselling centres, wifi, and on-campus medical facilities.
The Sir Dorabji Tata Memorial Library (SDTML) houses a collection of 1,24,000 books, 1600 audio-visual materials, and scholarly print and e-journal subscriptions totalling 10,298. The UGC-INFLIBNET and the TISS have signed an MoU for access to e-Resources through the UGC-Infonet Digital Consortium. The first floor houses a cutting-edge Cyber Library that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A study hall is also available, with a capacity of 507 students at any given time.
TISS Mumbai has six hostels, four on the main campus and two each on the Malti and Jal A.D. Naoroji campuses. Around 500 students can be accommodated in the TISS Mumbai hostels. The dining Hall is open to both hostel residents and non-residents and serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals.
The M.K. Tata Memorial gymkhana and recreation centre features a gym, yoga, table tennis, carrom, and badminton courts, among other things. An aerobics programme is introduced to encourage students to participate in physical fitness activities.
The TISS Mumbai gym, which is located on the first floor of the gymkhana, is well-equipped with cutting-edge equipment. Training in the gym is done under the supervision of trained instructors. Yoga classes are held on the gymkhana's ground floor every morning and evening from Monday to Saturday.

Infrastructure: Well about the infrastructure it is one on one bench each student have there personal bench. Huge room, smart board, and well mentain room, from the door to the window all are proper not a single window is damaged or any else, per room have a A/C too.
Faculty: The faculty is good. They support us in every semester for our assignment and project. They help us in every situation, yes left 3 star because in some case our faculty do late work, in case ok book distribution.
Hostel: Nice hostel and nice place too. The hostel also have the personal canteen and the canteen have various types of food daily. One room two students where place. So it is so comfortable to stay and to study.
