OJEE MBA 2023 - Dates, Result (Out), Cut-Off, Counselling (Ongoing), Admission

OJEE MBA 2023 counselling is being conducted and the choice-locking process will be held from August 5 to August 6, 2023. OJEE MBA exam 2023 counselling registration began on July 20, 2023, while the mock result was declared on July 25, 2023. The first round of allotment for Odisha MBA admissions through OJEE 2023 will be done by 5 PM on August 10, 2023. 

The OJEE MBA 2023 exam was conducted between May 8 and 12, 2023, by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee. The result was announced on June 2, 2023, on the official website (ojee.nic.in) by the Minister of Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Pritiranjan Gharai, and principal secretary Usha Padhi (SDTE) at the conference hall of SCTE and VT (government ITI campus).

The second/special OJEE for BTech, LE-Tech (Diploma), MBA, MCA, and B Pharm programmes will be conducted from June 26 to 30 in a computer-based test mode for a duration of one hour. A total of 55,979 students registered for the exam, of which 48,815 appeared. The ranks are allotted to 48,783 test-takers. OJEE MBA 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for MBA admission in Odisha must note that they should satisfy the following eligibility criteria to be considered eligible for the entrance test:

• Nationality/ Domicile Rules: Candidates belonging only to the state of Odisha are eligible for admission to an MBA course in Government Colleges. Candidates from all states are eligible for the admission MBA course in private colleges in Odisha through OJEE MBA 2023 entrance exam.
• Academic Qualification: The candidates must have a Bachelor’s or UG (Under Graduate) degree in any discipline/ stream with at least 40% of qualifying marks.
• Age Limit: There is no specific age limit prescribed for admission to the MBA course in Odisha.

OJEE MBA 2023 Exam Pattern

OJEE MBA 2023 is a pen and paper-based exam (offline). OJEE MBA 2023 applicants must have a detailed understanding of the OJEE MBA 2023 exam pattern so that they can take extra care while preparing for the exam. The applicants must make it clear that each question carries four marks, while each wrong answer is penalized (One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer).

How to Apply for OJEE MBA 2023?

The OJEE MBA 2023 registration form was released on February 10, 2023. Applicants could apply for the OJEE MBA until March 31, 2023. It is recommended that applicants verify the OJEE MBA 2023 eligibility requirements before enrolling for the entrance exam. OJEE MBA 2023 application process can be done through the official website of OJEE. The candidates must follow the steps mentioned below to apply for OJEE MBA 2023 exam.

• Registration: After visiting the official website, the candidates need to click on the Application link and select ‘Form C’. Complete the registration process by entering basic personal details. Once the registration process is over, the candidates will receive the Registration Number and Password.
• Online Application: Login with the registration number and password and submit the online application form. Upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
• Application Fee: The application fee is Rs. 1,000, and the candidates can pay in online mode. Credit Card/ Debit Card or Internet Banking can be used to make the application fee payment. Candidates who wish to pay the OJEE MBA exam fee in offline mode must download the SBI E-Challan from the official website. Visit the nearest SBI Branch along with the E-Challan and pay the fee.
• Printout of Application: After the successful payment of the OJEE MBA 2023 application fee, the candidates must download the confirmation page (application form) and take the printout of the same. The candidates must preserve the printout of the OJEE MBA 2023 application form for future reference.

OJEE MBA 2023 Admit Card

OJEE MBA 2023 admit card was released on April 20, 2023. Candidates had to visit the official website of OJEE to download the admit card till the date of the exam. The admit card of OJEE MBA 2023 has the Name of the Candidate, Hall Ticket Number, Name of the Exam Centre, Date, and Time of Examination. The admit card also has instructions that a candidate must follow on the day of the exam. If the candidates have any issues with OJEE 2023 admit card, they can inform the concerned authorities through e-mail.

OJEE MBA 2023 Answer Key

OJEE MBA 2023 answer key was released three days after the OJEE MBA 2023 exam. The answer key had answers to all 120 questions in the exam. OJEE MBA 2023 answer key will help the candidates to estimate their score in the entrance exam.

OJEE MBA 2023 Results

OJEE MBA result has been released on June 2, 2023. The results have been directly uploaded to the official website of OJEE, and the candidates can check the OJEE MBA 2023 results through the official website. At the same time, the candidates must download and take the printout of the OJEE MBA 2023 scorecard/ rank card.

OJEE MBA 2023 Cut-Off

All the candidates who qualify OJEE MBA 2023 exam with a minimum qualifying OJEE MBA 2023 cut-off mark will be eligible for the admission to MBA course in Odisha. In other words, the candidates must qualify for the exam with minimum qualifying marks prescribed by the OJEEB. The board may change the cut-off mark every year.

OJEE MBA 2023 Counselling Process

After the announcement of the OJEE MBA 2023 results, OJEEB will initiate the process for OJEE MBA 2023 counselling process from July 20, 2023. All the candidates who qualified for the entrance test and were featured in the OJEE MBA 2023 merit list are eligible to take part in the OJEE MBA 2023 counselling process. OJEEB will conduct two rounds of counselling to fill up MBA seats in 10 government and 56 private colleges across the state. While attending the counselling, the candidates must carry the following documents: -

• UG Mark Sheet or Certificate

• TC (Transfer Certificate)

• Class 10 and Class 12 Certificate

• OJEE MBA 2023 Scorecard

• Residence Certificate (if taking admission to government college)

OJEE Seat Allotment 2023

For OJEE 2023 seat allotment, the candidate's rank, eligibility, and reservation criteria of a candidate are checked. Candidates are given admission subject to document verification at the nodal centre. On the basis of the options exercised by the candidates, seat allotment is done. While allotting seats to the candidates, the category and rank are also considered as declared by the candidate. The seat allotment process takes into consideration all the options specified by the candidate in the order of preference at every stage. The number of options that a candidate can exercise is not limited and it is advisable for the candidate to provide a maximum number of choices.
