Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, formerly known as Agra University, was founded in 1927 in the lovely city of Agra. The university has received UGC approval and NAAC accreditation with a grade of "B++."

• Hostel – Both females and boys can stay at the university's hostels. On-campus, there is separate accommodation for girls and boys. The Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Hostels are designed to provide students with a comfortable living environment, complete with spacious and air-conditioned rooms. There are two boys' hostels and two girls' hostels available, albeit one of the girl's hostels is now undergoing renovations. E-journals from Oxford University Press, IOP, Taylor & Francis, ISID, and others are available in the library. • Sports – Indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available to students at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra.
