The revised syllabus of KCET 2021 has been released, and you can download the PDF of new syllabus here. The official syllabus of KCET 2021 is set by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for candidates preparing for the examination. The syllabus includes the topics relevant to the entrance exam. According to the KCET 2021 syllabus, there will be three subjects that students have to study - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. Candidates must go through the subject-wise topics to prepare for the entrance exam. While studying, candidates must check which topics have more weightage and which topics require more time to prepare. This way, it will become easier for students to make changes in their preparation schedule, if necessary.

KCET clearly states that the student must have at least 7years of studies in Karnataka. But to get into Karnataka colleges you can attempt JEE Main or COMEDK. COMEDK gets you into the same college as KCET but there are a lesser number of colleges and the fee is higher comparatively. But if you have special categories like Defence you might be exempted. Sorry to say but a student who has studied in Andhra is not eligible to write KCET in Karnataka. In order to get eligible for KCET, the candidate must have passed from a recognized institution situated in Karnataka only. Moreover, the institute must have been established in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years as of July 1 of the examination year.

PUC II syllabus carries majority of the weightage in KCET.
It is important to revise Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology syllabus of PUC I & II to achieve a good score in KCET.
The KCET syllabus will comprise of topics which are taught at the 10+2 level.
