CLAT 2024 Preparation Strategy for English Language

The English Language section of CLAT will test the aspirant’s grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. To expand their vocabulary, students must consistently work hard each day. They can accomplish this by making a list of new words and by reading the newspaper regularly. Furthermore, since students never know the subject the exam-setter will choose for the "Comprehension Reading" segment, reading articles on various topics will help them. This will also improve their grasp of general knowledge significantly.

CLAT 2024 Preparation Strategy for General Knowledge and Current Affairs

When it comes to the General Knowledge section of CLAT, many aspirants ignore preparing for it and try making educated guesses. They must remember that speculation will do more harm than good. The aspirants must not avoid reading the newspaper on a regular basis and keeping track of relevant information. They must keep up with current events and developments. To perform well in this section, students should follow the news on a regular basis and take notes.

CLAT 2024 Preparation Strategy for Legal Reasoning

The Legal Reasoning section of CLAT will put the candidate's reasoning and comprehension skills to the test in scenarios involving legal or social issues. Students must read the provided paragraph, analyse its content, and draw some conclusions. The reasoning ability of a person is assessed by the way they answer all the questions. Most importantly, students must be able to solve these questions while working under time constraints. As a result, CLAT candidates must enhance their reading speed and understand the significance of objectivity when selecting answer options.

CLAT 2024 Preparation Strategy for Quantitative Techniques

Students don't have to be a maths whiz to ace the Quantitative Techniques section of CLAT. They simply need to overcome their fear of mathematics by revising the fundamentals again, solving previous years' papers, and practising selecting the most relevant answer options. Since arithmetic problems constitute the majority of the exam, aspirants must try to learn as many shortcuts and strategies as possible. This will also help them save time for other sections.

CLAT 2024 Preparation Strategy for Logical Reasoning

This segment will consist of a sequence of short passages of roughly 300 words each. Each passage will be followed by questions that will require the aspirants to analyse statements. Candidates will have to develop the skill of quick and focussed passage reading and identifying arguments. Test aspirants have to learn to evaluate reasoning patterns and know how they can come to conclusions using specific premises or evidence.

CLAT 2024 100 Days Preparation Plan

In this section, we have provided the preparation plan to be followed 100 days before CLAT 2022. Candidates can find the section-wise preparation tips for the law entrance exam.

CLAT 2024 Preparation Strategy for the First 50 Days

Areas of Focus: Maths, English, Verbal and Logical Reasoning

  • Begin by going over each topic in the sections of Maths, Verbal, Reasoning, and English.
  • Make it a point to read an English newspaper every day.
  • Always make an endeavour to complete as many topics as possible. Stick to the timetable and do not leave anything for the next day.
  • Make a list of the key points from each topic so that you can refer to them during the revision phase.
  • Study the concepts and ideas from Legal Aptitude and General Knowledge during the first 50 days.

Areas of Focus: GK and Legal Aptitude

  • Subjects in which the aspirants are strong and weak should be listed separately.
  • Begin by allocating separate time slots for general knowledge and legal knowledge.
  • Since the majority of the questions are directly related to law, students should be well-versed in judgements and the latest developments in the legal sector.
  • Aspirants should revise every 15 days to get a strong grasp of what they have learned.
  • Each week, they must try to complete at least one or two papers from a previous year.

CLAT 2024 Preparation Strategy for the Remaining 50 Days

Areas of Focus: Begin Revision and Solve Question Papers

  • Complete the syllabus of all subjects and give more time to solving test questions.
  • During this period, the exam-takers should not learn any new concepts. This could lead to confusion.
  • While taking mock tests, they must approach each question as if it were the actual exam.

Areas of Focus: Practice Mock Tests

  • Practice as many questions from last years' exams as possible.
  • Take at least one CLAT Mock Test per day while reviewing the material.
  • This will help the aspirants determine how well prepared they are and they will be able to figure out their strong and weak areas.
  • Candidates must take this time to improve upon subjects in which they are weak.
