GATE 2025 Exam Dates: Application Form, Admit Card, Result Date

GATE 2025 Exam Dates: IIT Roorkee will announce the official GATE 2025 exam dates on its website iitr.ac.in. The GATE exam dates 2025 will be mentioned in the information brochure, which is to be released in August 2024 tentatively. The GATE 2025 exam is expected to be conducted in the first two weeks of February i.e. February 1, 2, 8 & 9, 2024. The GATE exam 2025 will be held in two shifts, each having a duration of 3 hours. Shift 1 (forenoon shift) will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while Shift 2 (afternoon shift) timings will be 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The GATE application form 2025 will be out tentatively in August and continue till October 2024. GATE 2025 Exam Schedule & Timings

IIT Roorkee will release the complete GATE 2025 exam schedule and shift timings on its website. The entrance examination will be conducted in two slots – Forenoon and Afternoon shifts. The duration of each exam slot spans 3 hours. Candidates can check the GATE exam schedule 2025 and timings here.

GATE 2025 Application Form Date

IIT Roorkee is likely to commence GATE 2025 registration through GOAPS in August 2024. The application process of GATE includes online registration, application form fill-up, uploading of relevant documents, and application fee payment before the final submission. Candidates can fill out and submit the GATE application form 2025 without a late fee till October 2024. However, after the specified deadline, they will have to pay an additional charge to complete the registration process. 

Once the registration window is closed, the GATE 2025 application form correction process will commence tentatively in November 2024. During this period, the authority will allow candidates to modify or edit certain details or mistakes made while filling out the registration form. 

GATE 2025 Admit Card Date

The conducting authority, IIT Roorkee will issue the GATE admit card 2025 in January 2025, tentatively a month before the GATE 2025 exam date. The GATE 2025 hall ticket will be available online at iitr.ac.in for a specified period within which candidates must download the same. It is mandatory for all aspirants to carry a copy of the GATE 2025 admit card to the test centre on the day of the examination failing which they shall not be allowed to take the exam.

GATE 2025 Answer Key Date

After the conclusion of the GATE 2025 exam, IIT Roorkee will release the GATE answer key 2025 for all 30 papers tentatively in the third week of February 2025. The official GATE 2025 answer key date will be revealed in the information brochure once released. The authority will first publish the provisional answer keys containing all the correct answers. Candidates can use the official answer keys to assess the correct responses and predict their exam scores. They will have the opportunity to challenge the preliminary answer keys in case of any discrepancies within the specified period. The authority will review the objections raised by candidates and publish the GATE 2025 final answer key after resolving the issues, tentatively in March 2025. 

GATE 2025 Result Date 

The GATE result 2025 is expected to be announced in March 2025. The authority typically takes about 30-45 days to declare the results of GATE examination. The GATE scorecard 2025 will be released at iitr.ac.in soon after the result announcement. Candidates can check their GATE scores and All India Ranks from the official website. Those who clear the GATE exam and make it to the GATE rank list 2025 shall be eligible to participate in the counselling process. 

GATE 2025 Counselling Date

The GATE counselling date 2025 will be announced after the declaration of the result. Candidates who qualify GATE 2025 shall be eligible to take part in the counselling rounds to get a seat in the GATE participating colleges 2025. The counselling for GATE is done through two portals. GATE counselling 2025 for admission to IITs will be done through COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) while for admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs will be conducted through CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M. Tech/ M. Arch/ M. Plan). As per the current year, registration for GATE COAP counselling 2025 is likely to commence in March 2025. GATE CCMT counselling 2025 will likely begin in the last week of May or the beginning of June 2025.
