UID Design Aptitude Test is a design entrance exam conducted by the Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID). The application form for UID DAT 2023 is expected to release in October 2022. How to Fill the Application Form of UID Design Aptitude Test 2023 in Online Mode?

The application form of UID Design Aptitude Test is made available online on the official website of UID. Applicants are required to follow the instructions enlisted below to fill the application form with ease.

Step 1: Register First

• Visit the official website of Karnavati University and select the link “Apply Online”.
• Enter the first name, middle name, last name, e-mail address and mobile number for registration.
• Tick the “I am not a robot” option.
• Click on “Create New Account”.

Step 2: Log In Next

• A mail is sent to the registered e-mail address.
• Open the mail and note down the mentioned username and password.
• Visit the same “Apply Online” Link.
• Enter the username and password.
• Click on “Log in”.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form

• Select the course from the long drop-down menu.
• Click on the “Next” button.
• Fill in all the personal and educational details including Name, Gender, Blood Group, Address, Nationality, STD, Information related to family, Work experience, Extracurricular achievements etc.
• Select the test centre from the dropdown list.
• Next, select the source of financing for the Unitedworld from another dropdown list.

Step 4: Upload the Documents

• Upload the image of the candidate in jpg, jpeg, gif or png format. The maximum size of the photograph must be 5 MB.
• Read the instructions.
• Click on “I Agree”.
• Select the “Submit & Make Payment” option.

Step 5: Proceed with the Payment

• The payment of INR 2,000/- needs to be done through an online mode either through a credit card, debit card or net banking.
• Registration would be considered complete after the institute has received the payment initiated by the applicant.

• Download the application form from the official website of Karnavati University.
• Fill in all the details carefully and correctly.
• Attest the documents, such as the signature and image of the candidate.

General IQ Test: The general awareness of an individual is analysed through the General IQ test given by UID. The aptitude of the candidate is measured as per his/her knowledge of the happenings in the nation and all over the world.

Critical Analysis Test: The ability to recognise a problem is considered as a major factor in evaluating the final performance of an applicant. The capability of the candidate to identify the issue and solve it through lateral thinking or reasoning is examined.

Creative Ability Test: Students are judged for their power of observation in concept development, intuitive ability, imagination and design ability. Applicants must possess an innovative approach while using the colours, techniques and illustrations. It lends them more brownie points.

UID Aptitude Test Admission Procedure 2023

UID Aptitude Test is one of the many rounds conducted by UID to analyse the capability of the aspirants. It is not the whole-sole criteria to get admission at the institute. However, qualifying the written aptitude test is very vital in order to be eligible for further rounds of admission. 

Once the UID DAT or UID Design Aptitude Test is cleared, an applicant gets to participate in the Creative Situation Test and Personal Interview & Portfolio. The final selection of the applicants is done based on the overall performances in all three stages of admission.
