Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Knitwear Design must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • The upper age limit for the General and Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribe/Person With Disability (PWD) is 23 and 28 years respectively.

  • Candidate should have passed class 12 examination from a recognised State/Central Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

OR

  • Candidate should have cleared any Public Board/School/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 education system.

OR

  • Candidates with a passing grade with at least five subjects in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School must also be considered eligible.

OR

  • Candidate should have a 3 or 4-years long diploma recognised by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
