In 2021, a dental college was also established on the campus. Today, the GMC Kottayam courses list also includes Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology, diploma, PG diploma, and PG superspeciality courses. The annual intake capacity for the MBBS programme is 150, and the admission is based on the NEET UG exam conducted by the NTA.

The institute allocates 15% of the total seats based on the NEET UG scores under the AIQ. The rest of the seats come under the state quota.
