NEET UG 2020 Exam Pattern

NEET UG exam pattern 2020 is prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NEET question paper 2020 will be available in 11 languages - Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil, English, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Assamese, Oriya, Kannada, and Telugu medium. Divided into Physics, Chemistry, and Biology sections, NEET question paper 2020 will consist of 180 questions that candidates have to attempt within 3 hours. NEET UG entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode (paper-based) mode that will select medical aspirants for MBBS and BDS courses in top medical colleges or universities of the country.

By knowing the exam pattern and syllabus of NEET 2020 well in advance, NEET aspirants will get a thorough understanding of the nature of questions that will be asked in the exam, the weightage of each section, duration of exam, number of questions.

Detailed NEET Exam Pattern 2020

There aren't any changes in the exam pattern of NEET 2020. The detailed NEET 2020 exam pattern can be checked below -

  • NEET 2020 will be conducted in an offline (paper-based) mode.
  • The total duration of the test is 3 hours.

  • There will be multiple-type of questions in the exam.

  • NEET 2020 will have 180 questions in total from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology)

  • Candidates will have to fill their responses online.

  • There will be negative marking for wrong responses. For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted and for each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded to the candidates.

  • NEET 2020 question paper will be in Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil, English, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Urdu, Oriya, Kannada and Telugu medium.
