About NEET 2022 Exam Pattern

The NEET exam pattern 2022 has been released by the NTA. It has rolled out an in-depth document that comprises all the details pertaining to NEET 2022 exam pattern. As per the latest NEET exam pattern 2022 update, there will be two sections – A and B – in each subject. Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 questions, out of these 15 Questions, aspirants can choose to attempt any 10 Questions. So, the total number of questions in the NEET exam pattern 2022 is 200, out of which 180 need to be attempted.

The NEET 2022 exam was conducted for a total of 720 marks. The duration of the test was 3 hours and 20 minutes as specified in the NEET exam pattern 2022. Questions 1 to 35, 51 to 85, 101 to 135, and 151 to 185 will be compulsory. Section B will have 15 questions on each subject. These will be questions 36 to 50, 86 to 100, 136 to 150, and 186 to 200. A candidate needs to attempt any 10 questions out of 15 in section B, for each subject. 

NEET 2022 exam was held in offline mode i.e. via Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) based. Detailed NEET Exam Pattern 2022

The NTA has not yet given any update on the exam pattern. However, it can be gauged through previous year's trends. The detailed NEET 2022 exam pattern can be checked below -

  • NEET 2022 will be conducted in an offline (paper-based) mode.
  • The total duration of the test is 3 hours and 20 minutes as per NEET exam pattern 2022.

  • The Test pattern of NEET (UG)-2022 comprises two Sections.

  • Each subject will consist of two sections.

  • There will be multiple-type of questions in the exam as per NEET exam pattern 2022.

  • Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 questions, out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions

  • The total number of questions remain the same i.e. 180

  • Candidates will have to fill their responses online as per NEET 2022 exam pattern.

  • There will be negative marking for wrong responses. For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted and for each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded to the candidates.

  • NEET 2022 question paper will be now in 13 languages Gujarati, Hindi, Tamil, English, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Urdu, Oriya, Kannada and Telugu medium.
