About OJEE 2022

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) special phase exam registration began on August 1, 2022, the last date to register is August 14, 2022. Earlier, the OJEE rank card was released in online mode on July 27, 2022. OJEE exam 2022 was conducted from July 4 to 8, 2022. The hall ticket of OJEE 2022 has been released on June 27, 2022.The last to pay the application fee of  OJEE exam 2022 was May 16, 2022. Candidates who had successfully submitted their OJEE application form were issued the OJEE admit card 2022. The authorities conducted OJEE 2022 in the computer-based test mode (CBT). OJEE 2022 Result

The result of OJEE 2022 has been declared on July 27, 2022. In order to access the OJEE result 2022, the candidates are asked to enter their OJEE 2022 roll number and date of birth in the candidate portal of the official website of OJEE 2022. Along with the result of OJEE 2022, the officials also released the OJEE 2022 merit list or rank card. Based on the result of OJEE 2022 and the merit list, the eligible candidates will be qualified to take part in the counseling process of OJEE 2022.

OJEE 2022 Counselling Process

The counselling process of OJEE 2022 exam will begin from August 10, 2022. All JEE rank holders will be eligible to participate in the counselling process irrespective of their admission status. OJEE 2022 counselling is an online mode process for final seat allotment. Candidates qualifying the exam can participate in OJEE counselling 2022 on basis of their ranks and schedule. OJEE board releases the final seat allotment after the counselling process. 

OJEE 2022 Cutoff

The cutoff of OJEE 2022 will be declared after the announcement of the result of OJEE 2022. The participating colleges of OJEE 2022 will decide their individual cutoff scores which will get published by Orissa Joint Entrance Examination authority. The OJEE cutoff 2022 refers to the minimum marks required from the candidates for admission in the participating institutes of OJEE 2022. It is necessary for candidates to successfully get placed in the cutoff list in order to be eligible for further rounds of the selection process.

OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2022

The OJEE 2022 eligibility criteria is regarded as the most significant factor applicants must consider first while before applying for OJEE exam 2022.. The eligibility criteria defines the norms that must be justified by the aspiring candidates if they wish to successfully apply for the OJEE 2022 examination. These norms mostly include academic requirements and factors like age relaxation and the nationality of the candidates. OJEE 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Candidates must download their OJEE hall ticket and have a double copy in case they misplace it at the last moment. The students will not be allowed entry with the hall ticket
  • Students should check the details stated on the OJEE admit card 2022 before downloading it
  • Students are required to carry a valid ID photo on the day of the test. Photo ID can be any of the following - Voter ID, Aadhar Card / Photo Registration Number, Rating Card, Driver's License, PAN Card and Passport
  • Students under the PwD category are required to carry a PWD certificate and an admission card
  • Candidates must carry a passport-like photo attached to the confirmation slip
  • Students must pass instructions related to the examination center as stated on the OJEE consent card before appearing on the exam.
  • Students should carry a black / blue pen to do the hard work
  • The OJEE 2022 admit card must be signed by the candidate in the presence of the invigilator only
  • Candidates will need to bring two copies of the OJEE admit card 2022 and keep one copy of the admission card after the Invigilator has signed and certified it. They must keep it once the admission process has been completed

Options Other than OJEE 2022

OJEE aspirants for B.Tech admissions must note that they have an option to appear for multiple engineering entrance exams other apart from OJEE. A student can apply for the state-level exam, i.e., OJEE, and national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ Advanced. On the other hand, there are various deemed universities in India, which conduct their own entrance exam for B.Tech admissions. For example, KIIT University (Odisha) conducts KITEE for B.Tech admissions. Similarly, there are various deemed universities in India for which the candidates can aspire for admission. However, if you are aspiring for admission under the state quota or concession seat, appearing for the state-level entrance exam is mandatory. Deemed universities also offer tuition waivers or scholarships for top rank holders of the entrance exam.

JEE Main 2022

Earlier JEE Main used to be known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Only if the applicants managed to make a place among the top 1.5 lac candidates, then they could proceed for JEE Advanced 2022. 

JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must have qualified the Class 12 examination with five relevant science stream subjects.

In order to be able to appear for the entrance examination, the candidates must have secured 75% marks and the reserved category candidates must have 65% in class 12 aggregate. 

JEE Advanced 2022

The JEE Advanced is a gateway for 10,000 candidates to secure seats in Engineering Institutes pan India. This JEE Advanced is considered to be the most difficult entrance examination at the national level. 

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2022

Candidates will have to rank among 1,50,000 candidates of JEE Main 2022. 


Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) has a similar difficulty level to JEE Advanced. So the same preparation can be utilized to appear for BITSAT 2022. 

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2022

Candidates who have a 75% aggregate in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths combination will be eligible to appear for this examination. 

The candidates must have scored 60% marks in each of the subjects individually in Class 12. 

After appearing for the above-mentioned examinations the applicants would again be able to appear for OJEE 2022. Apart from these national-level engineering entrance examinations, the applicant can also appear for several state-level examinations.

No, OJEE and JEE Main are not the same. MBBS and BTech have been removed from OJEE after the announcement of AIPMT & JEE Main.

What is a a good rank in OJEE 2022?
