To pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at Cambridge Institute of Technology-Main Campus, a candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 patterns of examination (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, and Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

Cambridge Institute of Technology admission requirements for General Category applicants is 45 per cent in the qualifying examination and 40 per cent in the qualifying examination for SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC Category candidates. Suppose the candidate's marks in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics in the qualifying examination are less than the required aggregate percentage for eligibility determination. In that case, the candidate's marks in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics will be considered in place of Chemistry.

Cambridge Institute of Technology-Main Campus provides a two-year MBA program to students with a bachelor's degree from a recognized university and a minimum of 50% in aggregate across all years of the degree test, or 45 per cent in the case of SC/ST and Category-1 candidates from Karnataka.

CIT-Main Campus cutoff 2024 has not been released yet. Cambridge Institute of Technology cutoff for BE admission is done on the basis of COMEDK and KCET entrance exams. The seats for admission to these courses will be allocated on the basis of the Cambridge Institute of Technology cutoff. The cutoff marks for Cambridge Institute of Technology is determined on the basis of KCET and COMEDK cutoff.
