A Balanced Journey Through Gears: A Mechanical Engineering Graduate's Perspective on MMMUT.
By Vaibhav Singh

Overall: Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) has been a pivotal chapter in my academic journey, earning a commendable four out of five stars. The university offers a comprehensive Mechanical Engineering program, complemented by vibrant campus life and a strong emphasis on extracurricular activities. While there are areas that could use refinement, MMMUT has undoubtedly played a crucial role in shaping my academic and personal growth.

Placement: The placement cell at MMMUT is efficient and works tirelessly to bring reputable companies on campus. The placement process is competitive, and the university has a good track record for placing students in well-known companies. However, there is room for improvement in terms of diversifying the industries that participate in recruitment drives.

Infrastructure: The university campus is vast and well-maintained. The library is a valuable resource with an extensive collection of books and research materials. However, some of the classroom facilities could use an upgrade. The laboratories and workshop areas were adequately equipped, but a few modernizations would enhance the overall learning experience.

Faculty: While the majority of the faculty members are passionate about their subjects, there were instances where communication and teaching methods could be more student-friendly. Feedback mechanisms are in place, but it seemed like it took a while for some concerns to be addressed.

Hostel: MMMUT's hostels provide more than just accommodation; they are vibrant communities fostering student life. Comfortable living spaces, shared experiences, and a sense of camaraderie define these quarters. With adequate facilities and a focus on student well-being, the hostels contribute significantly to the overall college experience.

Dear Riya

The B.Pharm admissions for 2023 will be based on the CUET UG scores. Your score of 266 out of 600 seems to be lesser than the usual cutoff scores released by the institute for admission to its various courses. This is because 266 out of 600 is lesser than 50% of the total score. However, each year the cutoff gets influenced by a variety of factors. Therefore, you can check the official website of MMMUT Gorakhpur for each round of the merit list released for the B.Pharm course. Moreover, you are still advised to look for other institutes where your chances of admission are higher.

Hope this information helps!

Dear Shruti Sharma,

For getting admission in MMMUT BBACourse, you are required to check the qualifying score for your category for CUET. You can also check MMMUT previous year CUET cutoff score for OBC for reference. Accordingly, 213 is a good score as the OBC CUET cutoff is less then general category. You can also contact the MMMUT admissions department.

I hope this helps!

If you have more queries or questions, we would be happy to help.

Dear Shruti Sharma,

The OBC CUET cut off is frequently lower than the General category cut off. The CUET cut off for OBC 2023 is expected to be higher than 90 percentile. If you have scored 213 in CUET from OBC Category, you can get admission in MMMUT BBA course. Keep in mind that the admissions process is competitive, and it's a good idea to make backup plans in case you don't meet the cutoff for your selected program at MMMUT. Consider elements other than your entrance exam result, such as your academic record and any other qualifications or achievements that may be considered during the selection process.

I hope this was helpful!

If you have any further queries or questions, please contact us.
