Overall: This college fees is low 24500 for general and for obc 8500 and for sc category 0 fees . But affiliated university is slow processing . Yavatamal City is something dangerous

Placement: Placement condition are so poor in our batch only 5-6 students placed from computer . Electrical department ave good placement. This college is mainly for core branches - civil

Infrastructure: Building are old . And can be renovation is happening but infrastructure is poor there were cases of sneak appearing in college. Don't prefer this there is so much garbage in college campus. College campus is so small there is no place for seat If every student gather there

Hostel: Old rotten hostel of polytechnic college was was renovated and painted But I think that should be rebuilt. There is a issue of water . 3 students in a room you have to share room with 2 other students'

Overall: It was based on CET scores. In cap rounds, I was allotted this college based on my preference. You should check the official website and the timelines of admission. As I was in the open category, I wasn't eligible for any of the benefits or concessions. But, there were several seats like obc, sc, st, vjnt, ews, tfws. And the students who were in these particular criteria got huge concessions over fees and also received scholarships. The cutoff was not too high. Students with low percentile having particular categories were allotted. But, for the open category, you need to score above the 90 percentile.

Placement: Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

Infrastructure: Environment of our college is good but the infrastructure is not well. Building is very old. Wi-Fi facility is available in our college. Labs are available but not well maintained. Classrooms are not clean. It has a very good library. Boys' hostel is under construction, girls' hostel is very good. Hostel mess food is very good. The canteen is available. Medical facilities are not available. All the sports are held on the college ground.

Faculty: Govt. College of Engineering, Yavatmal (GCOEY) promises to fulfill quality technical human resource needed for these sectors in India. GCOEY is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (BATU).

Hostel: The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. There are rooms for students in the boy's hostel, one mess hall, guest room, gymnasium hall, & reading room. The hostel mess is run by the students themselves on a cooperative basis. The other facilities such as inverter, electric generator, cycle stand, etc. are available for students. A sub-post office is also working in the hostel for the benefit of students as well as staff of the institute. Area: 4552 sq. meter. Capacity: 180
