Doctors are always available on the campus to help and give prescriptions at no cost to students. Overall I have completed my b.tech in mechanical engineering from this college in 2022.The environment of this college is very good. Everyone there was very supportive.

Placement The placement of this college is good. I did not get the placement due to some reasons but some of my friends got selected at higher packages. This college is mainly known for placement .

The placements are good, and the CTC ranges from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 18 lakh, but the chances of placement highly depend on your individual academic performance. The infrastructure of the university is also good. Facilities like hostels, transportation, cafeterias, and, sports grounds are easily available. The university is punctual with its examinations schedule and even during Covid, our exams were not delayed much. I would say that it is a good choice to make if you want to look for a college in Lucknow.

Placement The SRMU Lucknow placement rate is around 80%. Maximum students get placed in decent companies but this is subject to the condition that you have a good academic record and the required skills. The highest package offered for my batch was Rs 15 lakh per annum and the average package stood at Rs 4 lakh per annum.

Faculty As I mentioned earlier if you are to list down the pros of the university, then the faculty will top the list. The majority of the teachers are PhD holders and have professional experience in their respective fields. The faculty members are very friendly and motivate us to do better and attain the best of our potential. Many of my teachers were also active in Research work and guided us in the same.

Hostel The hostels at SRMU are built separately for boys and girls. The hostel food is not amazing but it is okay as compared to some other hostels in the city. The girls’ hostel is called the Gargi Hostel and the boys’ hostel is called the Tygore Hostel. Around 200 rooms are available in each hostel block. I had some of my best memories in the hostel where we used to access the table tennis rooms, reading room, and also the gymnasium. The hostel fee is Rs 80,000 per month which I feel is a bit expensive.

To get admission to SRMU, we need to clear exams like the JEE, CAT, CUET UG and PG, GATE, etc. The campus is huge and is equipped with all facilities.

The placement cell starts the training and grooming of students as soon as we enter the final year of our courses. The highest CTC goes up to Rs 18 lakh per annum and the lowest CTC is around Rs 4 lakh per annum.

Infrastructure The university has a huge campus and infrastructure which is spread across an area of 100 acres. The campus of SRMU is located on the Lucknow Deva Road, Barabanki. The overall campus is vibrant and there is a holistic learning environment at the university. The central library is stocked with a decent collection of books and journals for all subjects. There is an air-conditioned computer lab and many laboratories as per the subject needs. The hostels are available separately for boys and girls and there is a huge cafeteria at the university.

Faculty The teachers and staff of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teachers are always ready to help the students with all academic and career related queries. However, the teachers are very strict with the university rules and regulations. Some of the teachers have an experience of more than 20 years and have published various research papers under their names.

Hostel SRMU offers hostel facilities for boys and for girls. The hostels are built separately. The girls’ hostel is known as the Gargi Girls’ Hostel and the boys’ hostel is known as the Tygore Boys’ Hostel. The hostels are comfortable and have a homely environment. There are 6 floors and 12 wings in each hostel.
