Overall: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was established as Indraprastha University (IPU) on 28 March 1998 by the Govt. of NCT Delhi as a state university under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 with its Amendment in 1999.[6] The university is recognised by University Grants Commission.
Placement: Likes Many companies such as Wipro, Infosys, Concentrix, Amazon, Jaro, EY, and Deloitte, etc., visited the college for placements. Our college provides many placement opportunities for every level of student. Dislikes There was no internship programme for our batch either, However, the department tried hard to get students placed, but things didn't work out as wished.
Infrastructure: The college has huge and beautiful hostels, canteen, grounds for cricket, football, tennis, basketball, etc, So, the college is good in terms of infrastructure. (191 Reviews) All the facilities including the library and labs are quite good on campus.
Hostel: The University maintains four hostels on campus, two for the boys and two for the girl students of the University. The two boy's Hostel are named Shivalik Hostel, Aravali Hostel and two girl's Hostel are named Nilgiri Hostel and Satpura Hostel. Each hostel has over 180 single seat rooms. Each room is equipped with basic furniture like cot, mattress, pillow, chair, table, cupboard, tube light and fan.
