Madras Christian College is an autonomous college connected with the University of Madras in Tamil Nadu. It was founded on April 3, 1837, by Rev. John Anderson, a Church of Scotland missionary. NAAC has awarded the institute an A grade. Madras Christian College educates all students, regardless of caste or community. UGC has also approved MCC.
