NIT Trichy Placements 2023 - Average & Highest Package, Percentage

NIT Trichy placement 2023 is over and the placement rate is 94.08%. NIT Trichy highest package offered is Rs 52.89 LPA and over 45 companies visited the campus during the placement drive. As per the NIT Trichy B.Tech placement 2023 report, 1075 students graduated out of which 853 students were placed and 142 of them opted for higher studies. The median package offered was Rs 15.76 LPA. B.Arch students were offered a median package of Rs 4.8 LPA and the placement rate for 2023 was 87.87%. In the NIT Trichy B.Arch placement 2023, 29 students were placed. 8 opted for higher studies out of 41 NIT Trichy graduates. 

In the case of PG programmes, NIT Trichy M.Tech placement 2023 report shows that 516 students were placed out of 535 and 4 students opted for higher studies. The placement rate was recorded at 80.95% for M.Arch programme. The median salary package was Rs 10 LPA for M.Tech and Rs 6 LPA for M.Arch. In the NIT Trichy MBA placements 2023, 88 students were placed out of 91. The median package for MBA in the NIT Trichy placements for 2023 was Rs 8.7 LPA.

• There is an increase in the number of recruiters from 43 in 2022 to over 45 in 2023. 
• NIT Trichy median package for the B.Tech programme showed a surge from Rs 12 LPA in 2022 to Rs 15.76 LPA in 2023, whereas, the median package decreased by Rs 1,20,000 and Rs 3,50,000 for B.Arch and M.Arch programmes respectively.
• Improvement is evident in the NIT Trichy placement rate as well. In 2023, the placement rate was recorded at 91.30% for UG programmes and 96.87% in PG programmes as compared to 2022 where the placement rate was 87.4% and 94.39% for UG and PG programmes, respectively.
• In the case of MBA, the placement statistics were better than the previous year with an increase in the median package by 14.47%. The placement rate went up from 95.83% in 2022 to 96.70% in 2023.

In 2023, NIT Trichy highest package went up to Rs 52.89 LPA. It increased by 32.22% as compared to the previous year's highest package. Specialisation-wise, the NIT Trichy highest package 2023 was offered to B.Tech CSE, B.Tech ECE, B.Tech EEE and B.Tech Instrumentation & Control Engineering. The second-highest package of Rs 51 LPA was offered to B.Tech Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, followed by Rs 38.03 LPA offered to B.Tech Production Engineering and Rs 33 LPA offered to B.Tech Chemical Engineering, B.Tech Civil Engineering and B.Tech Mechanical Engineering branches.

NIT Trichy highest package 2022 was recorded at Rs 40 LPA, which went down by Rs 3.31 LPA as compared to 2021. The highest package received by NIT Trichy in 2021 and 2022 went up by over 48% compared to the highest package offered between 2019 and 2020.

NIT Trichy median package 2023 for B.Arch was Rs 4.8 LPA, whereas for M.Arch, the median package offered was Rs 6 LPA. In the case of engineering, NIT Trichy B.Tech median package was recorded at Rs 15.76 LPA. The median package offered in NIT Trichy placement drive 2023 stood at Rs 10 LPA. The NIT Trichy MBA median package was recorded at Rs 8.7 LPA in 2023. The NIT Trichy placement rate was 94.08% and 45 companies were seen attending the placement drive in 2023.

In 2022, the NIT Trichy median package for architecture was within the range of Rs 6 LPA - Rs 9.5 LPA. In the case of the B.Arch programme, the median package was Rs 6 LPA. NIT Trichy median package 2022 was Rs 9.5 LPA for M.Arch. NIT Trichy MBA median package for 2022 was Rs 7.6 LPA. A total of 43 companies visited the campus and the placement rate was recorded at 90.89%.
