Admission to IIT Madras for its undergraduate engineering programmes is a tough race that is decided by the Joint Entrance Examination. In 2026 session aspirants must first appear for the JEE Main, whose second phase registration opens in February. Only those who qualify JEE Main will be allowed to appear in the tougher JEE Advanced, the only examination that counts for admission to any B.Tech programme at the college. The last leg of the process is an admission counselling conducted under the auspices of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) after the announcement of JEE Advanced results. JoSAA 2026 counselling registration is now open. The last date to complete registration and choice filling is June 11, 2026. Candidates can complete the counselling process online through the official portal at josaa.nic.in.
GATE COAP 2026 Round 4 offers have been released. Candidates who registered for COAP Counselling 2026 can now view their offers by visiting the official COAP 2026 portal at coap2026.iitr.ac.in. The decision window is open, and the last date to submit choices for Round 4 offers is June 3, 2026.
JEE Advanced 2026 results and the final answer key have been released. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download their scorecards from the official website at jeeadv.ac.in using their login credentials.
