Delhi B Tech Admission 2023 - Delhi has numerous government and private engineering universities and colleges. About JAC Delhi B Tech Admission 2023
JAC Delhi conducts the joint admission process for DTU, IGDTUW, IIITD, and NUST. Students must note that the admission process for B.Tech courses in Delhi is different from one university to the other. If the candidates are willing to secure admission through JAC (Joint Admission Counselling), JEE Main score is mandatory for admission. Delhi B Tech Admission Procedure through JAC 2023
B. Tech admissions in Delhi are purely based on merit. Candidates aspiring for B.Tech admission through JAC (Joint Admission Counselling) must note that the admission and seat allotment is purely based on the candidate’s performance in JEE Main. The authority of JAC will not prepare a separate merit list for B.Tech admission in NSIT, DTU and IGDTUW. The seat allotment will be purely based on the candidate’s all-India rank in JEE Main exam.
For B. Tech admission in IIIT Delhi through JAC, JEE Main score secured by the candidate will be converted to the base of 100. As per the admission rules, IIIT Delhi will add bonus marks if any. Based on the score secured by candidates in JEE Main and additional bonus marks, IIIT Delhi will prepare a merit list of candidates. The admission and seat allotment will be based on the merit list.
Delhi B Tech Admission Procedure through IPU CET 2023
B.Tech admissions in Delhi through IPU CET are purely based on merit. Candidates aspiring for B.Tech admission in GGSIPU or its affiliated colleges must note that the admission authority will prepare an inter-se merit list, and the seat allotment will be based on the merit list. Similarly, choices filled by the candidates during the online registration process for counselling will be considered for seat allotment.
B.Tech admission procedure in Delhi through JAC and IPU CET is centralised and the candidates must take part in the online counselling process for securing admission.

JAC counselling procedure and IPU CET counselling procedure for B.Tech admission in Delhi are conducted online. The centralised counselling procedure of JAC and IPU CET involves different stages, and the candidates must have a complete awareness of the counselling process before taking part in it. The detailed counselling process of JAC and IPU CET for Delhi B.Tech admission is elaborated on below.
JAC Delhi (Joint Admission Counselling) Procedure 2023
The procedure of Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) is as follows –
Submission of Registration & Counselling Fee:
Candidates who wish to participate in JAC Delhi must visit its official website to pay the registration cum counselling fee. The counselling fee is Rs. 1,500 per applicant. The following details are required to enter for paying counselling fee –

E-Mail ID
The candidates must note that the JAC registration cum counselling fee can be paid online. Only the candidates who paid the counselling fee will be allowed to submit the online form for the JAC procedure.
Online Registration:
After paying the counselling fee, the candidates must visit the official website of JAC Delhi. On the homepage, click on the option that indicates ‘New Registration’
The candidates will have to enter JEE Main Roll Number, Date of Birth, Nationality and Class 12 Results Status (Declared Pass).
The registration form will be displayed on the screen, and the candidates must enter personal and educational details in the prescribed columns.
Choose the user id (JEE Main Roll Number)
Create a password
Submit the details after checking
Take the printout of the JAC registration form
Choice Filling:
After the registration, the candidates must log in with a User ID and Password.
After login, click on the link that indicates ‘Available Choices’
As per the options available, candidates can add choices as per their wish
Before filling choices, it is advisable to check the list of B.Tech specialisations available and the fee structure of participating colleges.
Candidates can fill in the maximum number of preferences.
After filling in the choices, candidates can click on ‘Display Filled Choices’ to crosscheck.
The choices will be locked automatically after the deadline is over.
Seat Allotment Results:
JAC will announce the seat allotment results as per the schedule (Round 1 or 2 or 3).
Candidates can check the seat allotment results by visiting the official website of JAC Delhi.
Login with user id and password to check seat allotment results
The seat allotment status will be displayed on the screen.
Admission Fee Payment:
If the candidates are satisfied with the college and course allotment, he/ she can pay the initial amount of the admission fee of Rs. 75,000 to confirm the admission.
The admission fee can be paid in online mode or through SBI E-Challan. Candidates can visit the nearest SBI branch to deposit the fees through SBI E-Challan.
After admission fee payment, the candidates must log in and download the seat allotment letter from the official website.
Reporting:
Along with the seat allotment letters and other relevant documents, the candidates must report to the institute within the specified date.
If the candidates fail to report to the institute within the specified date, his/ her admission will be cancelled.
The college will ‘Freeze’ the admission of the candidate, and further change in the branch or course by the candidate is not allowed.

The candidates who secured a seat and paid the initial admission fee through the JAC portal must report to the allotted University/ institute within the specified date along with original and self-attested copies of the following documents –

Delhi B Tech Admission Procedure through IPU CET 2023
B. Tech admission procedure in Delhi through IPU CET involves different stages. The detailed IPU CET B.Tech counselling procedure can be checked below:
Submission of Counselling Participation Fee:
The candidates must visit the official website of IPU admissions to pay the counselling participation fee.
The candidates will have to click on the counselling fee payment link.
Please enter IPU CET Roll Number, Date of Birth and Mobile Number.
The candidates will see two options on the screen such as ‘Cash Payment through Challan’ and Net Banking/ Credit Card or Debit Card.
The candidates can choose any payment mode.
If the candidate wants to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 1,000 through E-Challan, they must download the same from the official website. Visit the nearest Indian Bank branch to deposit the counselling fee. The candidates will receive a fee payment receipt.
If the counselling fee is paid in online mode, the candidates will have to take the printout of the counselling participation fee payment receipt.
Registration:
After the counselling participation fee payment, the candidates can visit the IPU admissions website to register for IPU CET counselling. Candidates who paid the counselling fee through e-challan must note that they can register only 48 hours after the payment of the counselling participation fee.
Click on the registration link on the website.
Please enter the IPU CET roll number, mobile number, and date of birth.
The registration form will be displayed on the screen.
Enter the personal details/ academic details/ contact details in the registration form.
Create a Login ID (IPU CET Roll Number) and Password.
Submit the details.
Take the printout of the registration form.
Choice Filling:
Before proceeding with choice filling, the candidates must refer to the list of colleges, B.Tech specialisations and cutoff ranks of colleges available on the official website.
For the choice filling, the candidates must log in on the IPU admissions website by using a user id and password.
The list of choices will be displayed on the screen.
Add the choices as per your wish and availability.
There is no limit on the choices filled by the candidates for the IPU CET B.Tech seat allotment.
Save the choices and take the printout of the choice entry form.
Seat Allotment:
GGSIPU will release the IPU CET B.Tech seat allotment results on the scheduled date.
The candidates can check the seat allotment status through the IPU admissions website.
Download the provisional seat allotment letter.
Admission Fee Payment:
Candidates who secured admission must pay an initial B.Tech admission fee of Rs. 40,000,
The fee payment can be done through E-Challan of Indian Bank or Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.
The candidates must take the printout of the admission fee receipt after the initial fee payment.
Reporting:
- Finally, the candidates must report to the allotted B.Tech college with all the relevant documents.
