The Bengal Institute of Technology and Management admission process is a straightforward one. An aspiring student needs to submit the BITM application, pay the application fees, and have sufficient knowledge and marks in their previous exams. Candidates should:

a) Pass the Higher Secondary Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognised Council/Board

b) have individual pass marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology.

c) Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC candidates) as well as in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the qualifying examination.

Candidates should pass the four years’ B.E / B.Tech with first class or equivalent degree in the respective branch where they desire to seek admission. (GATE/PGET qualified candidates will get preference.)
