What's new at IMT Hyderabad?

Admissions to IMT Hyderabad courses are offered on the basis of entrance exams such as CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-NET (FPM) and more. CAT 2023 admit card for the December 2023 cycle has been released on the official website iimcat.ac.in for which the exam is scheduled on November 27, 2023. Registration for MAT 2023 December session has started for PBT, CBT and IBT modes. Candidates have to visit the official website of AIMA MAT - mat.aima.in to register.

IMT Hyderabad admissions to PGDM programmes are based on scores from the CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, and IMT Hyderabad entrance tests. Candidates are ultimately chosen based on their performance in a personal interview and their admission exam results. The college recognises the following scores for admission to the Fellow Programme in Management: CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE and UGC-NET (FPM). To apply for admission to IMT Hyderabad courses, candidates must go to the official IMT Hyderabad admissions portal for filling out the application form.

Admissions to IMT Hyderabad are also offered in Executive PGDM and FPM programmes, in addition to its flagship curriculum. CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, and ATMA are used to select candidates for the Executive PGDM programme, followed by PI. While the institute accepts test results from the CAT, GRE, GATE, and UGC-NET for FPM. Additionally, candidates must submit a 5000-word research proposal in the field of study they intend to pursue the FPM course.

 IMT Hyderabad PGDM Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor's degree that is at least three years in duration and must have at least 50% marks overall in order to be recognised for admissions.
• Students in their final year who still need to appear in their exams can submit their prior scores and percentiles, along with their official entrance exam score, to the IMT academics office within the allotted period.
• A panel chosen by the college itself will review the results of the entrance exam and conduct personal interviews.
• Work experience enhances a candidate's chances to get selected.
• Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the interview and selection process may be placed online using college-recommended portals, but the applicant should be prepared for a thorough test on communication and aptitude, as well as a group discussion and personal interview.
• It is important to submit on time all the paperwork that the college requires.
• At the time of selection, the panel examines candidates' communication abilities, subject-matter expertise, interpersonal skills, credentials, etc.

IMT Hyderabad Executive PGDM Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% or an equivalent.
• The applicant should have at least three years—and preferably five years—of experience working in the corporate sector.
• Should have taken the approved entrance examinations and met the college's cutoff requirements.
• For the executive PGDM programme, the same selection criteria are used, but the applicant must submit a statement of purpose. The candidate's acceptance into the college will be based on the strength of the statement of purpose and the skills displayed during the personal interview.

 IMT Hyderabad FPM Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have completed the first course of their degree and hold a master's degree in management, economics, social science, biology, pure science, engineering, or equivalent are eligible for the programme.
• A candidate must have a valid CAT, GMAT, UGC-NET, or GATE exam score in order to be considered for admission to IMT Hyderabad. Candidates should submit a 5000-word research proposal in their area of study together with their application form.

• On the IMT website, select the "Application Form" link.
• The applicant must include contact and educational information in the application as well as the attempted entrance exam ID, such as a CAT or XAT ID.
• IMT Hyderabad takes CAT, XAT, GMAT, and CMAT scores.
• The applicant can pay for the application form using debit/credit cards or net banking after supplying all the necessary information.
• An application number is generated for each candidate after payment is received; this number is to be stored by the candidate for future use.
• Within the following 24 to 48 hours, candidates will get an email confirming the submission's success.
• Then the candidates are selected at the discretion of IMT Hyderabad on the basis of the entrance exam scores and performance.
• After getting shortlisted, candidates must have to verify their documents at the institute and pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the college.

• For the application process, candidates must take the CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-NET, ICAR-NET, and CSIR-NET tests. They can take the IMTH research aptitude test if they don't.
• The applicant must make a request for the application form on the IMT website in order to receive one for the FPM course.
• The documents and certificates that must be presented with the application form should be accompanied by an abstract of 5000 words on the topic of study for the FPM course.
