Pass in a higher secondary Certificate Examination (with high mark in English) of the Tamil Nadu State Board or CBSE or other equivalent examination acceptable to the Pondicherry University

Candidates for admission to B.Com. will be required to have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination of the Tamil Nadu State Board or CBSE or other equivalent examination acceptable to the Pondicherry University with Accountancy & or Commerce as one of the subjects of study.

Candidates for admission to B.B.A. shall be required to have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination of the Tamil Nadu State Board or CBSE or other equivalent examination acceptable to the Pondicherry University with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Commerce as one of the subjects of study. There is no lateral entry admission.

Candidates for admission to B.Sc. Physics shall be required to have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination of the Tamil Nadu State Board or CBSE or other equivalent examination acceptable to the Pondicherry University with Physics and Mathematics as subjects of study.

Candidates for admission to B.C.A shall be required to have passed Higher Secondary Certificate Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or CBSE or other equivalent examination acceptable to the Pondicherry University with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Computer Science as one of the subjects of study or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed thereof.

Candidates who have secured 55% of marks or above are eligible.

Candidates who have passed in any one of the following or equivalent, are eligible to apply. B.Com / B.Com (Foreign Trade) / B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship) / BBA / BBM / B.Com (Co-op.) / B.Com. (Edn.) / B.Com. (Vocational) or any other B.Com streams having other specialization with a minimum of 50% marks (the minimum marks for some specified categories of students are applicable as notified by the Government of Pondicherry from time to time.)
