The SRMU Lucknow admission 2024 is currently ongoing for various UG, PG, PhD, Diploma, and, Integrated courses. The admission for various UG and PG courses will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam.
For the PhD admission, the university conducts an interview to shortlist candidates. Some of the other exams accepted by the university are GATE, NATA, CAT, XAT, MAT, JEE Main, and, SRMUSET.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University course admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate courses are based on the scores of various entrance exams. The NATA exam is accepted for B.Arch admissions, JEE Main is accepted for B.Tech admission, and, GATE is accepted for M.Tech admission.
For MBA, CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA exams are required. Further, the CUET UG and CUET PG exams are also accepted for various UG and PG course admissions respectively. For the Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University PhD admission, candidates must have passed a Master’s in the relevant field which is followed by an Interview Round for final selection.
Further, for candidates who aim to avail themselves of the various scholarships provided by the university, the SRMU Scholarship Cum Entrance Test (SRMUSET) is accepted by the university. Based on the candidate’s performance in the exam, scholarships ranging from 20% to 100% are provided to deserving students.

The application form for the UG, PG, Diploma, and, Integrated courses is common and the form for PhD is different. The detailed steps to apply for admission to the university are mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the university which is srmu.ac.in
Step 2: On the home page of this site, candidates will see three small buttons on the extreme right. One will be for ‘Admission Enquiry’, one for ‘Online Admission Form’ and the other for ‘PhD Application Form’.
Step 3: Click on the required application form button as per the course preference.
Step 4: Candidates will be redirected to a new page. Click on “Click to Apply” on this page.
Step 5: If you are a fresh applicant, click on “Apply Fresh” and register yourself as a fresh applicant. If already registered, login using your login credentials for the SRMU Lucknow admission.
Step 6: Fill out the application form with all details including the basic, personal, and, academic details.
Step 7: Pay the application fee. The application fee for the Diploma courses is Rs 500 and that for all other courses is Rs 1,000. The fee can be paid through credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, and, other digital methods, and is non-refundable.

Admission to all the courses will be made strictly as per the Eligibility Criteria laid down for various courses. The Academic Council shall have the power to amend or repeal the laid down Eligibility Criteria as per the guidelines of regulating bodies like UGC/BCI/NCTE/COA/PCI/ICAR etc.

2.1.24 B. Pharm. (Duration: 4 Years)
Candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as optional subjects individually with minimum marks of 45% or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category in the above subjects taken together. "However, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharm Course." Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Candidate must have passed B. The candidate will be offered admission in M. Tech. only in that stream of Engineering in which he has obtained B. Tech.
For M. Tech (Environmental Engg), candidates must have passed B. Tech (any stream) from any recognised University or AICTE recognised Institute/College with minimum aggregate marks of 50% or 5.5 CGPA for GEN/OBC and 45% marks or 5.0 CGPA for SC/ST Category or M.Sc. (any stream) with 45% marks or 5.0 CGPA for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or 4.5 CGPA for SC/ST Category.

(a) Students directly enrolled in Integrated B. Tech Program since 1st Year will be eligible for the program as per the eligibility criteria. In case, the student shows his/her willingness to exit from it, will be allowed to do so in 3rd Year during VI semesters by applying in a prescribed format.
(b) As the process of integration starts in the Final Year of B. Tech. i.e. in 4th Year. Interested students who are pursuing Regular or Integrated B. Tech. Program with 6.0 CGPA or more till V Semester with no 'F' Grade in any subject have to apply for B. Tech. M. Tech. Integrated Program in a prescribed format in 3rd Year during the VI Semester. Preference for the integrated course will be given to students enrolled in Integrated Program over Regular B. Tech. course/ as over Lateral Entry cases.
2.3.2 Integrated B. Tech MBA (CE, ME, EC, EE, CS, Bio-Tech) (Duration: 5 Years)
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/ State Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/Technical Vocational Subjects. Candidate must obtain minimum 45% marks or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category in the above subjects taken together.
(a) Students directly enrolled in Integrated B. Tech Program since 1st Year will be eligible for the programme as per the eligibility criteria. In case, the student shows his/her willingness to exit from it, will be allowed to do so in 3rd Year during VI semesters by applying on a prescribed format.

2.3.3 Integrated BBA LL.B. (H) (Duration: 5 Years)
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board in any stream with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category.
2.3.4 Integrated B.A. LL.B. (H) (Duration: 5 Years)
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board in any stream with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category.
Candidates who are appearing in the 10th or equivalent Examination may also apply for UG Diploma Courses.
2.4.1 Diploma (ME, CE, EE, CS, EC) (Duration: 3 Years)
Candidate must have passed 10th or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with minimum aggregate marks of 35% along with Science, Maths & English as compulsory subjects.
2.4.2 Diploma (Bio-medical Engineering) (Duration: 3 Years)
Candidate must have passed 10th or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with minimum aggregate marks of 45% along with Science, Maths & English as compulsory subjects.
2.4.3 Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) (Duration: 2 Years)
Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board in Science Stream with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Biology / Bio-Technology / Mathematics with minimum marks of 45% or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category in the above subjects taken together.
2.4.4 Diploma in Agriculture Engineering (Duration: 3 Years)
Candidate must have passed 10th or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with minimum aggregate marks of 35% along with Agriculture as a compulsory subject.
A candidate seeking admission for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the university must have the following basic eligibility.
2.5.1 Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate to its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7 - point scale or an equivalent grade in a point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accredited Agency in its home country shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.
2.5.2 Candidates possessing an M.Phil. Degree or a degree considered to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accredited Agency in its home country, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.
2.5.3 Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. Coursework in the University with. at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' and successfully completing M.Phil. degree/M.Phil. The dissertation has been evaluated and the viva voice is pending shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph.D. Degree in the University.
2.5.4 A relaxation of 50% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled/those who had obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September 1991 and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time.
A student in this category works full-time for his/her Ph.D. degree with or without a University fellowship or with project support or fellowship from CSIR/UGC or any other recognized funding agency. The candidate should meet the required minimum qualifications for admission to Ph. D programme as mentioned in clauses 2.5.1, 2.5.2, 2.5.3 & 2.5.4.
A person working in reputed research organizations, academic Institutes and industries, can be admitted on part-time basis provided:
(i) Candidate is working in an organization that encourages and facilitates research
(ii) Candidate meets the requisite minimum qualification for admission to Ph. D. programme as mentioned in 2.5.1, 2.5.2, 2.5.3 & 2.5.4
(iii) Candidate fulfills the condition of the period of residency
(iv) Candidate has a minimum of one-year work experience in the related field
(v) Candidate furnishes a "consent & no objection certificate" from his/her parent organization.
Candidates may take Admission as Lateral Entry in B. Tech (CE, ME, CE, EC, EE & Bio-Tech), MCA and in UG Diploma (ME, CE, EE, CS & EC).
3.1 B. Tech. (CE, CS, EC, EE & ME) II Year (Lat. Entry) (Duration: 3 Years)
Candidate must have passed a 3 or 4-year Diploma in the appropriate branch from institutions recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education or passed a B.Sc. degree (with Science) from a recognized University as defined by UGC with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or 5.0 CGPA for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or 4.5 CGPA for SC/ST Category.
3.2 B. Tech. (Bio-Tech) II Year (Lat. Entry) (Duration: 3 Years)
Candidate must have passed a 3 or 4-year Diploma in the technical stream from institutions recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education or B.Sc. degree in Biology/ Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry/ Physics/ Maths/ Physiology/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Agriculture with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or 5.0 CGPA for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or 4.5 CGPA for SC/ST Category.
3.3 UG Diploma (ME, CE, EE, CS, EC) (Lat. Entry) (Duration: 2 Years)
Candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with minimum aggregate marks of 35% along with Maths, Physics, and English as compulsory subjects.
Or
Candidate must have passed 10th with ITI (Minimum 2 years duration) from any institutions recognized by the State Government in relevant engineering subjects with minimum aggregate marks of 60% or Intermediate Science with Vocational/Technical subjects.
Candidates seeking admission from another University/Institution in any year and any course are permitted to fulfill the following conditions:
4.1 Transfer cases are permitted only at the beginning of the ODD Semester.
4.2 Transfer cases in all the courses and in all the years are permitted on a case-to-case basis, provided the admission is duly approved by the specially constituted Equivalence Committee.
4.3 Submission of mark sheets of all the previous semesters/years is mandatory for Equivalence Consideration.
