Alard Group of Institutes is a private college established in the year 1999. The campus of the institute is spread over an area of 15 acres and equipped with modern facilities. Alard Group of Institutes has four constituent colleges: Alard College of Engineering & Management, Alard Institute of Management Science, Alard College Of Business Studies and Alard College Of Pharmacy. All four colleges are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Alard College of Engineering & Management is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The institute offers over 20 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Some of the courses offered are BE, B.Pharm, BCA, MBA, ME etc. Alard Group of Institutes gives both merit based and entrance exam based admission. The admission process varies from course to course. The college has a placement cell to look after training and placement of students. 

The college offers diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Alard Group of Institutes courses are offered in the fields of engineering, management, computer applications and pharmacy. Alard Group of Institutes admission is merit-based and entrance exam based (depending on the course). The institute accepts MHT CET / JEE Main scores for admission in BE courses. At the postgraduate levels, for Alard Group of Institutes admission in M.Pharm and GATE courses, GPAT and GATE scores are taken into consideration, respectively. Before applying for admission, candidates must make sure they meet the eligibility criteria determined by the college. 

Every year, the Alard Group of Institutes admissions for UG and PG courses begin in January. Candidates who are interested in a particular course can apply online. 

Alard Group of Institutes admissions is done per the rules and regulations developed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai. Details of the various dates (schedules) are published by DTE in their brochure and are available on their website, i.e., www.dte.org.in. Interested candidates must visit the DTE website regularly to obtain eligibility, process, and participation in the General Submission Program, also called CAP.

The candidate must complete the required application form with one certified copy of the academic and other supporting documents and institutional funds. Candidates will submit institutional preferences and eventually obtain certified documents from designated ARC institutions. DTE will allocate ARC facilities. AGI Pune states that it takes several weeks to process and submit material to the Admissions Committee.

The Admissions Committee reviews the application. During the application review, candidates may be invited for a personal interview.
