Selection is done through entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CUET PG, CLAT PG, NIMCET, UPSEE, MAH CET, or Amity Test, while some courses also admit on merit. The admission process at Amity University Mohali is multi-step and differs for each programme. B.Tech Admission Process

• Shortlisted candidates receive interview call on registered email/mobile.
• Attend Personal Interview (PI) at the Mohali campus or via online mode.
• Final selection based on entrance exam score + PI + Class 12 marks.
• Seat allotment communicated via email/SMS. Pay admission fee to confirm seat.
• Submit original documents for verification at the time of reporting

MBA Admission Process

• Check eligibility: Graduation with minimum 50% aggregate.
• Appear in CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / NMAT (any one valid score).
• Fill online application form and pay Rs 1,500 application fee.
• Eligible candidates are called for the English Language Test (ELT).
• Attend Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) at Mohali campus.
• Also appear for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) on the day of interview.

Ph.D Admission Process

• Check eligibility: PG in the respective field with minimum 55% aggregate; UGC/CSIR/DBT-NET qualified candidates get PET exemption.
• Register and fill the online application form at amity.edu/phd (application fee: Rs 1,500, non-refundable, payable via credit/debit card).
• Upload required documents: passport-size photograph, Class X mark sheet, Post-Graduation mark sheet, preliminary research idea (within 1,000 words), and employment verification certificate (for part-time applicants).
• Appear for the Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted as per UGC Ph.D. guidelines; NET-qualified candidates are exempted from PET.
• Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interview (PI) at the Mohali campus.
