Amity University Ranchi Admission 2026 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

Amity University Ranchi was founded under the Amity University Act 2016, which was passed by the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. This UGC-accredited university is located in Ranchi, the state capital of Jharkhand. Undergraduate courses are available in Commerce, Biotechnology, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Communication, Literature, and Management. As part of its postgraduate programme offerings, it also provides MBA and MCA courses.

Amity University Ranchi provides undergraduate programmes in a variety of specialisations, including BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, and B.Sc. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have at least 55% aggregate marks in 10+2 with appropriate disciplines. Candidates for biotechnology must have Physics, Mathematics, and Biology as obligatory topics in 10+2, but candidates for B. Sc IT must have either Mathematics or computer science. Math or Economics is required for B.A. Economics applicants. Admission is dependent on merit and a qualifying examination. English language tests, group discussions, and interviews are all part of the admissions process.

Amity University Ranchi also provides B.Tech degrees in Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, Electronics and Communication, and Computer Science Engineering. Candidates must have obtained at least 55% in their 10+2 examinations, including Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology (for B. Tech Biotechnology) as obligatory courses.

To be eligible for Amity University Ranchi admission, candidates must pass the institute level entrance test (Amity JEE). The institute also accepts JEE Main scores. The final decision is based on the student's academic merit, entrance test score, and performance in the GDPI rounds. Selected candidates are notified via the admission webpage, where they must download and print the admission letter and pay the course fees to secure their places.

Amity University Ranchi offers MCA and MBA as postgraduate programmes. Candidates must have at least 50% in their degree to be considered for admission. MCA aspirants must have either finished a BCA or had Mathematics as a subject in their graduation.

Candidates are chosen based on their academic performance. Shortlisted candidates must pass an English language test, a group discussion, and/or an interview. MBA applicants who have taken entrance exams such as the CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT may be excluded from taking the institute level test. Final selection is based on an applicant's academic record, entrance test score, written test performance, and GDPI performance.

Amity University, Ranchi accepts applications both online and in person. Candidates must, however, register for the entrance exam on the respective official website.
