Dolphin PG Institute of Bio Medical & Natural Sciences, Dehradun admission 2026 works through a CUET score-based merit system. There is no independent entrance exam conducted by the institute for most programmes. The process has four clear stages: apply online, submit CUET scores, document verification, and fee payment.
DIBNS Dehradun Admission Process for UG Programmes
- Appear for CUET (UG) 2026: Register on exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG and take the CUET (UG) exam. DIBNS accepts CUET scores for BSc, BPT, B.Com., BBA, BCA, BA, and B.Tech. admissions.
- Fill the Online Application Form: Visit admission.dolphininstitute.in. Register, choose the programme, fill in personal and academic details, upload your photograph and signature, and submit the form.
- Pay the Processing Fee: Pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 5,000/- and registration charges of Rs. 10,000/- at the time of admission confirmation.
- Submit Documents to Admission Cell: After submitting the online form, take a printout. Submit the signed printed form along with CUET scorecard and all required documents to the DIBNS admission cell.
- Check Merit List: DIBNS releases the first merit list based on CUET scores. Check it on the official website. If you are on the list, report for counselling within the given time.

DIBNS Dehradun Campus
DIBNS Dehradun campus facilities include a 250-seat cafeteria, library with 3,20,700+ books, 50+ annual sports competitions, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The institute has an on-campus OPD, 24×7 ambulance, and active NCC, NSS, YRC, and BSG units.
Cafeteria DIBNS Dehradun cafeteria accommodates 250 people at a time with group seating. All meals are prepared in-house by experienced chefs following hygiene and sanitation standards. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are prepared separately. The menu is rotated regularly to include varied cuisines and cover all food groups.
Library The DIBNS library holds 3,20,700+ books along with 70+ scientific journal and magazine subscriptions, making it one of the largest libraries in Dehradun. A digital wing with 10 computer booths provides access to the OPAC system and INFLIBNET. Every student and faculty member receives an individual INFLIBNET login ID for access to e-library resources.
Sports DIBNS organizes 50+ sports competitions annually across Open, Men's, and Women's categories at interdepartmental, collegiate, university, regional, state, and national levels. The sports zone includes a Basketball Court, Volleyball Field, Kho-Kho ground, Kabaddi ground, and off-campus fields for Football, Cricket, and Track. Indoor facilities cover Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom. The sports zone remains accessible to students until 8:00 p.m. on regular days.
Hostels The Girls Hostel accommodates 333 residents across 161 rooms, and the Boys Hostel accommodates 156 residents across 75 rooms. Both hostels have a fully furnished gym, badminton court, dining hall, and 24×7 CCTV surveillance with a 10:00 p.m. curfew. Medical facilities include a 24×7 ambulance service and OPD access at affiliated hospitals. The Girls Hostel additionally has an Open Air Theater, Recreation Room, Visitor's Room, Library, Study Room, and Tuck Shop.
Healthcare Services
DIBNS Dehradun provides a free on-campus OPD and diagnostic lab for routine medical check-ups, supported by an affiliated Dr. Lal PathLabs centre. A licensed ambulance operates free of cost 24×7 for medical emergencies. The Physiotherapy Department runs a free on-campus OPD along with 5 off-campus physiotherapy clinics in Dehradun at nominal charges. The institute is associated with Dolphin Jankalyan Multispecialty Hospital for handling serious medical cases. Students receive free accidental injury and death insurance provided by the institute. Regular health drives and blood donation camps are organised with the involvement of paramedical departments.
National Cadet Corps (NCC) DIBNS Dehradun has an active NCC unit open to students on a voluntary basis with no obligation for military service. The NCC programme focuses on discipline, patriotism, national unity, and leadership development. Students participate in community service, adventure training, and all-round development activities through the unit.
National Service Scheme (NSS) The NSS unit at DIBNS provides students with hands-on community service experience under a central government scheme. Activities include health camp organisation, awareness drives, cleaning and food distribution drives, self-defence training sessions, and reforestation programmes. Students also participate in celebrations honouring Indian artists and scientists through the NSS unit.
Youth Red Cross (YRC) The Youth Red Cross unit at DIBNS organises activities focused on public health, humanitarian service, and disaster management. Programmes include blood donation camps, CPR training, road safety seminars, first aid, and climate change awareness camps. Students also conduct visits to orphanages, old age homes, schools for the blind and deaf, and institutions for children with special needs.
Bharat Scouts & Guides (BSG) The Bharat Scouts & Guides unit at DIBNS is a secular, non-political, and inclusive youth organisation open to all students.
