The college provide a supportive educational environment and good hostel faculty and gives good job placements to student and provide scholarships to those students who were good in studies . The college also promotes to sports and organize a inter college tournament to help the students .

Dear student, the cutoff of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University for B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry for the UR category was 1261 OR and 10167 CR, for the ST category, the OR was 4026 and CR was 4026 and for SC category the OR was 12216 and CR was 13161. As of 2023, BSc Forestry course has been discontinued in the respective college.
