Overall: I spent my three years of diploma in government Residence Women's polytechnic,Tasgaon. This college (information technology) has brilliant and helpful staff. HOD of our department used to arrange a lot project based extra activities that helped me to improve my skills.as compared to other polytechnic colleges this College has Very less fees and quality teaching. That's why the merit of college is high.
Placement: Good placement for electronics and telecommunications as well as electrical department and average placement is there in other departments. In our department 2-3 students got placement offers from wipro, the salary is obviously not that great but if you need financial support then you can go ahead.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is good.classrooms are spacious. Computer labs are well structured. College has gymkhana and Canteen facilities. Library contains sufficient amount of books.
Faculty: The faculty of college is very well educated from reputed universities and experienced. The faculty puts effort to keep students enthusiastic and is appreciative. If you want good internal Marks, you have to impress teacher by working hard and studying well,making good projects. They'll expect a lot from you because they'll provide a lot to you. The interaction with these teachers will definitely make slight change in your personality.
Hostel: Hostel rooms are comfortable. Even though the fees of hostels are very less,they have provided a lot of facilities. If the count of students going to stay in hostel is more then you might have to adjust with 4 to 5 girls, Otherwise each room has 3 to 4 students in it.
