Who Can Register for GCAS VSBC 2026

The VSBC round is open to three groups of students:

Students who registered in earlier GCAS rounds but did not confirm admission. All earlier preferences that became inactive are re-activated automatically for the VSBC round. These students do not need to start a new registration. They simply log in, update preferences if needed, pay the VSBC fee, and submit.

Students who passed Class 12 supplementary examinations. Supplementary exam passers who could not apply during the earlier registration windows are specifically eligible for the VSBC round. They can do a fresh Quick Registration at gcasstudent.gujgov.edu.in/applicants/quickregistration.aspx.

New applicants. Students who did not register for GCAS at all during the earlier phase can register for the first time through Quick Registration and participate in the VSBC round.

All three groups follow the same registration deadline: July 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM at gcas.gujgov.edu.in.

How GCAS VSBC Admission Offers Work

The VSBC round does not publish a centralized merit list like a regular admission round. Colleges post offers directly to student dashboards. Here is how the process runs after registration:

Colleges review candidates individually. After VSBC registration opens, each college checks its vacant seat availability and reviews eligible candidates by merit. When a college decides to offer a seat, the offer appears on that specific candidate's dashboard at gcasstudent.gujgov.edu.in.

Log in every day. Offers can appear at any time between July 6 and July 15. A student who logs in only once may miss an offer that appeared and expired. Check the dashboard daily without exception.

Each offer has a validity date. Every college-posted offer shows a "Valid Till" date. The candidate must accept the offer and confirm before that date. Expired offers are not reinstated.

After accepting an offer: Print the offer letter from the dashboard. Report to the allotted college with all original documents. Pay the admission fee at the college. Confirm admission via OTP sent to the registered mobile number. Admission is confirmed only after OTP verification at the college.

Check vacant seats proactively. At gcas.gujgov.edu.in/cmsforms/frmvaccantcutoff.aspx, students can see which programmes and colleges have vacant seats. This page refreshes every 6 hours. Checking it gives a sense of where seats are available before an offer actually appears.
