Functioning since 2009, the Guwahati Institute of Fashion Technology (GIFT) was earlier known as the Global Institute of Fashion Technology. It is one of the finest design colleges in the North East that is located in Guwahati, Assam. GIFT institute aims to impart quality education through the medium of best degree and diploma programmes in Fashion Design and Interior Design. Guwahati Institute of Fashion Technology offers four design courses and all of them are affiliated with Gauhati University. The programmes provided by the institute are B.Sc in Interior Design, B.Sc in Fashion & Textile Designing, Diploma in Interior Design and Diploma in Fashion & Textile Designing.
