Awards and Rankings

  • Siken Shekhar, Faculty of Mass Communication & Journalism has won numerous other awards for Journalistic excellence, including the prestigious Journalist Humanity Achievers Award in 2015. He has won the Media Award for excellence in Journalism by Chandra group of institute in 2014. He honored with the people's choice most popular reality show 'Competition Ka Maha Sangram' Best Anchor Award for the year 2013. He has also awarded with the Best Anchor of the Year Award by the Lakshya Sainik School in 2013.
  • Vibhanshu Vaibhav, Faculty of Acting has been honoured with Awards like Pt.Pratap Narayan Mishra Young Writers’Award, Vishist Samman from Bhartendu Natya Academy, Lucknow, All India Human Rights Association Award for Services of Human Rights, Urdu Academy’s Best Director Award, Delhi.  He has been closely associated with Theatre, TV and Films as Director, Screen writer, Playwright, Lyricist, Music Composer as well as an Actor. He is handling the nuances of acting with the students of Acting Course at IFTI.
  • Parvez Khan, Faculty of Bollywood Action has awarded a Black Belt in Taekwondo in 1985, when he was only 14 years old. He holds the record of being the youngest Black Belt from India. He performs social service by training youth, especially ladies, to become self-sufficient for their own protection. He introduced Taekwondo Martial Art in the Republic Day celebrations by the N.C.C in New Delhi in 1987-1988 and demonstrated his Martial Arts sk ills in front of Lt. Shri Rajeev Gandhi, then Prime Minister of India. He has trained more than two thousand youths and has been awarded jury trophy in Taekwondo Martial Arts by superstar Shah Rukh Khan at Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai on 12th Feb 2006. He was awarded a Diploma in Special Training in Action by Chang Sung Dong (7th Dan Black Belt of Sang Rock Academy, South Korea) in 1990.Presently, he is an International Black Belt in Taekwondo 5th Dan from World Taekwondo Federation. In 2004, he was certified National Instructor and in 1988, he became National Referee of India.

    The deserving candidates won merit cum need basis are awarded scholarships during audions/admissions. Top two Students through certain special auditions are given 25% & 35 % scholarships respectively( % age to be verified). Topper of each batch gets scholarships( to be confirmed and executed)
