Dear Student,

To pursue BSc Nursing course at the Mahendra College of Nursing, Salem, candidates must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent with Science, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as their core subjects in the qualifying examination. Moreover, candidates must also secure a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 or its equivalent. So, commerce students cannot pursue a BSc Nursing course. However, they can consider applying for GNM Course Admissions.

Dear Student, No, the Diploma in Nursing course is not available at Mahendra College of Nursing, Salem. The college only offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) course. The B.Sc. Nursing course is a 4-year full-time course that is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University Chennai. The course is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TMNC). The Diploma in Nursing course is a 3-year full-time course that is offered by many other nursing colleges in India. However, Mahendra College of Nursing does not offer this course.
