Overall: From my experience, studying mechanical engineering at PSG College of Technology was a transformative journey. The college provides a strong academic foundation paired with practical learning opportunities like lab sessions and industrial visits. While the curriculum is challenging, it prepares students to excel in core engineering roles, research, or higher studies. What I cherised most was the vibrant campus life - there was always something happening, whether it was technical fests or cultural events, which helped in shaping both my professional and personal growth. Furthermore, the connection we develop during our academic studies often turn into lifelong bonds. PSG'ians (alumni network) are available everywhere around the world, across various sectors ranging from junior roles to CEOs. I've personally experienced this when meeting alumni internationally, even those I didn't know during my college days - hahaha ! This strong and supportive network is one of the unique strengths of PSG College of Technology.

Placement: Placement opportunities at PSG were quite impressive. During my final year, reputed companies from various sectors, including core mechanical engineering, visited the campus for recruitment. While core jobs were competitive, there were also opportunities in IT and other domains, giving students flexibility to choose their career paths. The placement cell provided good support through mock interviews and resume-building workshops, which helped me feel confident during the placement process.

Infrastructure: While I was studying, the infrastructure was good enough to support our academic needs. The labs were well-equipped, and the library was a treasure trove of resources, offering a vast collection of technical books, research journals, and digital resources that were immensly helpful for both coursework and self-learning. However, the classrooms were quite traditional with rows of benches, which felt a bit outdated compared to modern learning environments. If the seating arrangement were redesigned into a circular or amphitheatre style like IIMs, it could significantly enhance interaction and engagement during lectures, especially for group discussions or presentations. The campus also featured good recreation facilities, but improving the ergonomics and ambiance of study spaces could further enrich the student experience. This is just a suggestion based on my experience, but things might have changed now as I graduated in 2018.

Faculty: During my time at PSG, the faculty in the mechanical engineering department were highly knowledgeable and experienced. They were approachable and willing to clear doubts, which made learning a lot easier. Some professors went the extra mile to involve students in projects and technical competitions, which gave me practical exposure. Ofcourse, like anywhere else, the teaching style varied from one professor to another, but overall, the facutly played a significant role in shaping our career.

Hostel: Staying in the PSG Tech Hostel was a memorable experience, though it had its share of pros and cons. The hostels were generally well-maintained, and events like Movie Night, the Hostel fest (with amazing veg and non-veg dinner) added a lot of fun to the routine. The mess was divided into two portions - one is South Indian and North Indian mess. The South Indian mess food was decent but could get monotonous, and I preferred eating at North Indian or at PSG IM canteen, which served delicious North Indian foods, though it was a pricey. One thing I enjoyed was the 1 to 1.5 km walk between the hostel and classrooms, which kept me active and healthy. However, there were some negatives too. During peak admission seasons, the hostels could feel overcrowded, leading to minor inconveniences like long waits for facilities. Despite these issues, the overall experience of staying in the hostel was enjoyable and helped me form lasting friendships.

Overall: Educational facilities: smart classrooms, seminar hall, labs, library, canteen. Other infrastructure: indoor games room, gymnastic, stationary shops. This provide us best education, experience and training also with well established placement. It's also facilitates with free ragging in campus. Placement is very good. Every student get good placement well reputed and renowned companies, curriculum was excellent.College provide us intership for better future and experience. This college have faculties, who are very educated, knowledge and experienced. They are very helpful and understandble well communication. They give there full efforts for betterment.Hostel safe and secure, 24×7 electricity, water supply, compartable infrastructure. They are giving us full efforts to study us and also they are arranging lots of quiz competition, debates, art and paints, cooking competation, dance, singing etc....... overall conclude that this college is a very good college.

Overall: Students are provided with all types of books and journals in the library. There are sports hour every weekend which gives physical strength There are clubs like nss, cultural,sports, technical

Placement: Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th Sem onwards. Companies such as TCS, Wipro, etc are visiting and around 60% are hired each year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good & the campus is very impressive. We have all the facilities like parking, canteen, library & lab in the campus. We have a theater, basketball court, a lawn, tennis court, and many great facilities.

Overall: The college mission To cater educational needs of areas and socio- economically weaker sections of society and pursue quality and excellence in higher education as well as develop holistically human potential to face global challenges

Infrastructure: Infrastructures of the college is nice and decent. The University has a fully functional computer centre. It provides transport facilities which includes buses and railway allowance. The university has a major sports corner for both indoor and outdoor games.

Faculty: Teachers are very good. They are well-educated. All teachers are very hard-working and helpful. The teaching quality is good. Some teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable.

Hostel: They have their own hostels with minimum amount of fees. They provide well safety and security to the students. The food is also good. Hostel also carries with mess halls library gym indoor and outdoor playing areas etc.

Overall: Campus Life is much more adventurous than expected. Thousands of students admire to join the campus .It provides a different confidence and helps the students to be motivated towards their future. A very friendly and loving atmosphere

Infrastructure: All facilities are available in my college labs. The class teachers also teach very well to students and they give lots of opportunities to the students for seminars and classes.

Faculty: The faculty of my university in my department is very good they have a lot of knowledge and they know what they are teaching to the students. They have a lot of faculty who are passouts from this university itself. The faculty are also very helpful and cooperating towards students.

Hostel: Hostel Facility Very well. That means Food is very good taste and energetic and Yoga for gym facility are available. Overall: This modern approach to teaching allows for interactive and engaging classes, making it easier for students to grasp complex concepts. The college has implemented digital teaching technology, which enhances the learning experience for students.

Placement: Placement at this college is outstanding, with about 90% of students getting placed. Special faculty are available for placement training. Students get placed in companies like Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, and many other MNCs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructures of the college is so good. They have big library with many books are availble for your help, big classrooms, neat and clean washrooms, cafetaria, Hostel for both boys and girls, sports.

Faculty: The faculties are best. They are learning and have phds. They are not strict and are educational. They teach well and are always on time. Faculties are well behaved with children

Hostel: Hostel students suffers alot as they can’t even bunk a single class.if they even try to bunk then guard and teacher come in their doors.And food quality is below average.

Overall: Study is good and they conduct labs also. The campus interviews also present for many branches, this college every lecturer and Hods are friendly. The programs are well conducted

Faculty: The teachers and other faculty of our college are well qualified. The teachers are very cooperative with the studens and always ready to help the students.

Hostel: The college offer accommodation facilities to boys and girls. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities. The facilities include a mess and gym on the ground floor with a 24*7 internet connection.
