PBS Pune Admissions 2023: XAT 2023 will be conducted on January 8, 2023. XAT 2023 admit card is available now. CAT 2022 result has been published. 

Pune Business School Pune admissions or PBS Pune offers both online and offline application processes. The PBS Pune admission process is divided into three stages - preparation of a merit list based on a reputed management entrance exam score, group discussion and personal interview.

PBS Pune Selection Process

• Admission to the PBS Pune PGDM course shall be made only from the candidates qualified from any one of the six all-India tests, ie: CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT or the common entrance examinations (if any) conducted by the respective state governments.
• The PBS Pune admissions shall be based on overall rank computed taking into account further components with the following weights.
• The score in the common admission test 35-60%.
• Score in academic performance of Class 10 and 12 standards, with clear consistency and UG performance with the weight of 5 to 25%.
• GD/PI- 20 to 45%.
• Extracurricular, sports, social work, Academic diversity, Gender Diversity etc with 5 to 20%. 

XAT 2023 Schedule

Applicants applying for PBS PGDM admission must be graduates in any stream from any recognised university. The applicants must also possess a valid score in either of the following reputed management entrance exams - 

• CAT
• MAT
• XAT
• ATMA
• CMAT
• GMAT

Candidates with a valid score in either of the aforementioned management entrance exams are shortlisted for the GD/PI round and then based on the overall performance score obtained by the candidates in their respective qualifying PBS Pune entrance exams and in the GD/PI round are shortlisted for the final PBS Pune admission.

After fulfilling the PBS Pune eligibility criteria for the chosen PGDM course, the candidate should follow the following steps to complete their PBS Pune admission process. 

• Students need to apply online through the PBS Pune online admission portal.
• After the PBS Pune PGDM application is received by the institute, the eligible students are called in for a PBS Pune counseling session.
• The selected candidates are then needed to go for document verification. 
• After the successful verification, the institute will schedule  two interview rounds
• The first interview round is telephonic with a PBS Pune faculty member
• The second interview round is in video mode with the director of the Institute
• If selected, you will receive a PBS Pune offer letter from the institute
• Then finally the student needs to pay the admission confirmation fee through PBS Pune official website. 
• Students will receive a PBS Pune application fee receipt and a PBS Pune admission confirmation letter.
