RGUKT- BASAR Questions and Answers

Dear Student,

To apply for a B.Tech program at IIIT Basar (RGUKT-Basar) for the 2026-27 session, you must have passed your 10th Class (SSC) in 2026 and be under 18 years of age (for SC/ ST students, the minimum age is 21 years). The official admission notification has been released on March 16, and the application window is till May 10, 2026. You can apply through the institute's official portal, rgukt.ac.in, or via TS Online/ MeeSeva centres by paying a fee of INR 600 (OC/ BC) or INR 350 (SC/ ST). Selection at IIIT Bastar will be done strictly based on your Class 10th merit, with a unique 0.4 deprivation score added for students from non-residential Government schools to support rural talent. The provisional selection list will be announced on May 30, 2026. If you belong to a special category (PH, CAP, NCC, or Sports) then you must mail a hard copy of your application along with valid supporting certificates by May 20, 2026.
