Sardar Patel University (SPU), established on October 30, 1955, in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Anand, Gujarat, under the Sardar Patel University Act, is a public state university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with an A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
