Solamalai College of Engineering, Madurai Admission

Solamalai College of Engineering, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, provides a variety of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses in engineering and management fields. Admission to the 2025-2026 session is now open.

Undergraduate Courses (B.E./B.Tech):

Qualifications: Candidates should have finished their higher secondary level of studies (10+2) with an aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Admission will be given based on marks scored in entrance exams like JEE Main or Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA)

Application Process:

TNEA Registration: Candidates have to register for TNEA during the application period, which is usually in May and June.​
Certificate Verification: After registration, certificates are verified online, normally in June.​
Counseling: Shortlisted candidates attend counseling sessions organized by Anna University, wherein seats are allocated according to merit.

Postgraduate Courses (M.E./M.Tech):

Application Process:

Eligibility: Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in technology or engineering with a minimum aggregate score, depending on the specialization. A qualifying score in entrance examinations such as GATE or TANCET is needed.

Entrance Test: Appear for and obtain qualifying marks in GATE or TANCET.​
Counseling Registration: Get registered for counseling as mandated by the test authority.​
Application Form Submission: Fill up application form for Solamalai College of Engineering, available on the website or admission office.​

Master of Business Administration (MBA):
