Srinivas First Grade College(SFGC) was established in the year 1999 under the banner of “Srinivas Group of Colleges” to build enthusiastic quality professionals in the field of Management, Information Technology. The Institute, over the TEN years of its existence has proved its academic discipline and quality oriented system of education and has the reputation of best academic results and placements in well known companies. The Institute has produced several rank holders in the University examinations and has proved itself to be one among the best B-Schools to study in. Srinivas First grade college(SFGC) is located at in the Pandeshwar Campus of Srinivas Group of Colleges, in the heart of the coastal city of Mangalore well connected by all modes of transportation.Srinivas First Grade College, a unit of of Srinivas Institute of Management Studies organized Orientation Programme for the under-graduate students. A crowd of 400 including 200 students and their parents filled the auditorium. Dr. P.S. Aithal, Principal Srinivas Institute of Management studies inaugurated the progamme. On his inaugural address Dr. Aithal gave a talk on various aspects of education. He stressed on Corporate Yoga to control the minds of young generation and also made all the first year students to pledge the Oath. He has pointed out that the real hardwork take the people to the peak of success. Prof. Shailashri V.T., Head of the Department of Commerce and Management stressed on the importance of time and value for money. She also told the students to take initiative and encash the opportunities that come across in their student career. The Co-ordinator of BBM programme Mrs. Annette Sonia Chetan welcomed the gathering and Prof. Sridhara Acharya, Co-ordinator of BCA programme highlighted the gathering about new technologies and methods applied by the college to monitor the progress of students by the parents. Mrs. Sonia Ajay, Co-ordinator of B.Com. programme proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Mohd. Fahiq, Ms. Deena and Ms. Wilza students of B.Com. and B.B.M. compered the programme.

Placement Cell of SFGC is committed to provide all possible assistance to its graduates in their efforts to find employment. Separate libraries for Management Books and Computer Science Books have been developed which are centrally controlled. The Library is under the process of digitalisation and is expected to be complete in a few months. The Library subscribes over 60 Management Journals/Magazines and 20 Computer Science Journals/Magazines along with over 30 general reading magazines and newspapersStudents of SFGC are provided with spacious computer labs equipped with 120 modern computers assembled specifically to suit the requirements of both Computer Science and Management students with Windows and Linux platformsSFGC has a Wi-Fi enabled campus. Students can access internet from any part of the campus through the Wi-Fi enabled (Wireless enabled) laptop computers.All the class rooms in SFGC are equipped with LCD projectors with multimedia compatibility for improving the effectiveness of class room discussions.The Institution provides hostel facility (separately for boys and girls) and transportation facility from hostels to outstation students.
